All I can say is WOW. The food is awesome especially breakfast. Moving here recently from NYC in Manhattan were’s there’s so many awesome resturant and also living in Lancaster PA were you find great homemade food. Fat Boys rates right up there. I live in the Sanford area of Florida so Fat Boys is 35miles away but will not hesitate to jump in my car. I have not found any mom and pop restaurant worthy of breakfast like them. Ok the décor isn’t 5 stars but it’s clean and service with a smile. Come dressed very casual and there is parking but fills up fast. Heading there today. If your counting calories this is not your place. Sunday breakfast yum.

Lots of good food for a good price. We will be back. We were 2 adults and 7 kids. We got the huge platter for 4 with an extra pint of Mac n cheese and are still taking home leftovers. Spicy sauce and brisket was good. Comfortable place with friendly and good staff.

The name of this place says it all. This is not a place for you if you are worried about your health. I was so excited about going because I love barbecue. However, I found the food to be bland and covered in bbq sauce for flavor. I was not impressed.

I found this location while I was in St. Cloud on business and I asked where I could get some barbecue. I arrived around 12:30PM on a Thursday and the place was packed. I was seated at a deuce booth that had a pocket divider so that the four top booth adjacent to it would make it a six top instead. Pretty clever and it looked like it might even be handmade. Glancing around the room I can tell this place had been here for quite some time. Although I will say that everything looked clean including the carpets, this place could really use a makeover. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with fries and a side of beans. I also ordered lemonade to wash it all down. My server was incredibly friendly and very efficient. The food arrived extremely fast. This particular sandwiches a 5 ounce large steamed bun sandwich, that resembled more of a «man which» and less of a traditional pulled pork one. It was tasty however, with the right amount of sauce mixed in to the meat. I got a heap of fries however they were soggy and not hot. When she came to check on me and I told her about them she immediately apologized and went to go get another batch she brought it out another huge bowl filled with fries. Second batch was extremely tasty they use crinkle cut and the second batch was cooked to perfection. You get a very small plastic ramekin with about three bites full of beans in contrast. The beans I found to be quite tasty and slightly above average. They should have a better balance in their portion size, between beans and fries in my opinion. The lemonade also seemed like it could be homemade. She served me and a to go cup which was probably due to the fact that I was wearing my work uniform. I found that to be extremely convenient and she even brought out more for me to fill up before I left. Really the only negative thing I have to say about the service is that it would’ve been nice for her to mention that I pay upfront. I sat in my chair for a good five or six minutes until I figured out that I needed to bring my check up to the counter to pay. Continuing the good service, the woman at the counter was very nice as well. They have Andes mints at the counter for five cents. I gave her a quarter and only took two paying it forward. Lunch with tip came to a total of $ 12.81. This is relatively average for barbecue lunch in Florida. Overall I’d say that I probably visit this location again and try something else on the menu based on the great level of service I received, but the omega little work in order for me to call this anything other than average.

Not bad BBQ. I had ribs and pulled pork. The ribs were pretty good. The pulled pork was a bit to mushy for me. I also had corn and corn bread. Both were good. My fiancée had catfish and enjoyed it.

Been eating here for 25 years. Monday they changed their menu and prices are insane. Gone are the all you can eat specials and not a larger size order of ribs is $ 21.75. I can get a full slab for less than that. At least if they are going to charge high prices they could at least clean up the dining room and make it look less like the 1920’s.

Food still good as usual. Nice quiet atmosphere makes dining a pleasure. Always a good place to run into friends.

My wife lived in Kissimmee and always boasted about the bar b q here. It lived up to her praises. I had some of the best smoked baby back ribs I ever had. Super friendly staff. Local family atmosphere. If you love bbq you will definitely like this.

I gave this a 1 star because I can’t go lower. This used to be my better half’s favorite place! Not any more and never again. This is my third in a row bad experience. My prime rib was med to med well & I ordered med rare. The manager/cook argued with me that I didn’t know what I was talking about.(When I sent it back the server said they don’t have anything more rare). It had ZERO flavor and refused to do anything. The other meal was a cheeseburger about an 1/8″ thick and mushy. They took ½ off of that. The place has been virtually empty again – never a good sign for a local favorite living on a reputation. The staff was surly and condescending. Stay away! Stay away!

Fat boy’s is a Sy. Cloud must stop. Family owned and operated. Always greeted with a smile and a friendly face. The food is great, if you get a chance to try the prime rib sandwich, do.

Haven’t been here in years and it hasn’t changed in that time. I know its a institution in St. Cloud but the place needs to be knocked down and rebuilt and need a lesson or two from 4 Rivers BBQ in orlando.

Breakfast is good but the BBQ is lacking. We’ve eaten breakfast a handful of times and its been good, but it’s eggs and hash browns– this is supposed to be a barbecue joint, right? We ate at Fat Boys a couple of months ago– I really wanted ribs and heard they were good there. Not. Very fatty and lukewarm… almost like they had been heated up in the microwave prior to being served. My husband had the special which was pork chops, and he said they were not that great either, but we did enjoy the salad bar on that visit which made us think maybe they were having an off night in the kitchen, and to give it another chance. We ate there again this past Thursday night and what a joke. The salad bar this time was not nearly as fresh, and the food was disgusting. This time I had the pulled pork-I wouldn’t have fed it to my dog. It was mush, cold, and definitely was not fresh. My daughter had the kids ribs-also cold and very tough, and my husband had a burger-cold, most likely a prepackaged frozen patty and smaller than described. I wanted to take pictures but was too distracted by the prehistoric sized wasp flying around and nose diving just above people’s heads while the waitresses just laughed and cracked jokes about it being there all day. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant, and we couldn’t get out of there fast enough. $ 30+dollars for cold slop on a plate… never again. This place needs to get its act together or it will just be another empty building on 192. The owners should be ashamed. 2 stars– for the breakfast 0 for the BBQ.

We have gone several times over the past two months and we were satisfied with the quality and quantity each time. The service was very good too.

Like a down hone diner, but pretty spacious. The salad bar is good. I also enjoyed my cheeseburger. I didn’t try the barbecue, but the food was basic diner food. The best part about the restaurant was the friendly waitress. I don’t think I’d seek this place out on my own, but if I was hungry and soneone was going, I would try it again.

Fat Boy’s has been around since 1982 and it’s easy to see why. Old fashioned BBQ the way it’s supposed to be. They even serve breakfast here, Southern style. Fat Boy’s has a salad bar, lots of sides, burgers, steak, BBQ and ribs. With so many options, I didn’t really know what to pick and ended up ordering the BBQ feast for 2($ 22.99). This consisted of St. Louis Style Ribs, Bar-B-Q Chicken, Sliced Pork, Beef, and Smoked Turkey. The sides were Bar-B-Q Beans, Cole Slaw, Corn-on-the-Cob, Garlic Bread. You also had the option to choose a baked potato or french fries. I opted for Mac-and-Cheese while my friend got a Baked Potato. This definitely was a feast! The bbq sauces available were Original, Sweet, or Spicy. I made a mix between the Sweet and Spicy. My favorite meat of the whole platter was the sliced beef. It was pretty much like rare roast beef. The runner-up was the St. Louis style ribs. Nice and meaty, flavorful ribs. Put some of the sweet and spicy bbq sauce, it’s a winner. The other meats were good as well, such as the chicken. You could taste the smoked flavor in it. The sliced pork and sliced turkey were okay. The sliced turkey tasted like sliced deli meat. The sides were really good. The cole slaw was very chopped and tasted like KFC cole slaw. The bean were very hearty and you could taste the meat in it. There are some all-you-can-eat platters if you solely want to eat just one type of meat. All this food is super filling but I had to save room for dessert. The Kentucky Pie($ 3.95) looked interesting. I can’t say I’ve had a chocolate chip pie with pecans before. It was a bit rich for me but I liked the warm chocolate chip pieces. It was a piping hot pie! I rarely eat the whip cream on anything but I really enjoyed the whip cream on this pie. Overall, the pie was good but it would have been certainly better with ice cream on top. Fat Boy’s is very family friendly and great for large groups. I had a good time at Fat Boy’s and left here a fat girl.

Never again! I tried to like this place. It’s always packed on the weekends so I know there are people out there having good experiences here, but it sure isn’t me! I’ve been here twice and both times I had bad service and bad food. Both times the waitress treated us like we were not worthy of being waited on, like she was doing us a huge favor even coming to the table! I go out of my way to be kind and considerate to wait staff at any restaurant I go to, I understand how hard it is and how appreciated it is when a customer is pleasant. But even my initial smile and friendly attitude were rebuffed! Beyond rude! Both times the food was bland, unseasoned, undercooked and just plain unappetizing! What people see in this place I can’t imagine!

This has to be one of the worst BBQ places I’ve ever been too, except Sonny’s. I’ll start from the very beginning. Once we sat down, the service was prompt. I’m not writing this to complain about the staff. I ordered my sweet tea and proceeded to glance at the menu. I happened to see the drink menu and noticed that they charge $ 2.39 a glass. For tea. It’s half water and I know that lemon wedge wasn’t grown by the gods! On top of the drink prices, their sides were very limited. Yes they had the staples, but definitely not anywhere near as good of a variety as many other places. Not to mention, they want $ 2 or $ 3 extra if your single 4 tablespoon sized portion the meal comes with isn’t enough. I had the coleslaw, and I’ve had better from Bojangles. For half the price. Next, let’s talk about the fact they don’t have pulled chicken. I understand this, as I’ve seen a few places with this issue… but some of us BBQ fanatics don’t like pork. I was really disappointed. I was really excited to try this place out because a few friends recommended it… but I will never eat here again because of their outrageous prices. On the upside though, the other food was okay. Nothing special, but edible.

Fat Boy’s is one of the two best places to eat in town for Breakfast. I had their BBQ and it is ok, not one of my favorite. If you go there to eat you have to go at Breakfast time. For Menu:
