Everyone at the salon is incredibly nice and precessional. They are truly wanting to give you the best experience. It’s a luxury salon with a distinctly unpretentious attitude.

This place is great.
As soon as you walk in you will be offered a drink and they ask if you would like your coat to be hung. They are very friendly and welcoming. My hair was messed up from previously places and Ashley fixed it and made my hair all one color again.

Great cut, great color. Best place in St. Cloud. The one weird thing, you are not allowed to tip! …great policy, but it was weird given other salons pressure you into tipping.

I have driven by this place so many times, did not even know it was there. I was offered a drink upon entering, the staff is very courteous! I arrived 20 minutes early and was seen early by Kelsie. She was great did a fantastic cut and took time to understand what i was looking for. She even took time to help me figure out what hair colors compliment my skin tone :) Affordable and great service, they start at 40 and go up from there depending on the stylists experience. I opted for a newer person for my visit. Very happy with my experience!

Went to G&B as a spur of the moment urge for highlights. I had read one other good review which encouraged me to give them a call. They were very accommodating with appointment times. I was greeted cheerfully and offered a beverage. My stylist, Ashley, was wonderful. She did a great job with the partial foil highlights and mentioned which products she used. The atmosphere is very relaxing. Upon checkout, I was not pressured to buy any products but did so anyways because I loved the smell of a certain one that was used. I was given my total (which was quite reasonable) and I asked about tipping, I was told they don’t accept tips for that service. (At my next visit 8 weeks later I noticed a sign that they are professionals and don’t take tips except for certain services). I was so pleasantly surprised that I immediately knew I’d be back. Two days later I received an appreciation letter and a coupon for my next service. That was the best experience I’ve ever had with a salon. You must go there! Like I said, I did go back and I plan to be a regular customer.

I love this Salon i’ve been to many upscale salons in Los Angeles and the bay area and never in my wildest imagination did i think i would find the ideal salon in St. Cloud, MN .the stylists and colorist really care about you and what you want. they are not out to sell you products and services they genuinely give you what you ask for without being too caught up in the sale of it. Also, there is no tipping the stylist they are paid well. This is an upscale salon and not somewhere they work for tips, atmosphere and staff are amazing caring and professional and will make accommodations for their clients.

The best salon in St. Cloud! I have had only positive experiences at GB for the past ten years. When I lived in St. Cloud, I visited regularly and was so pleased with every experience; since I’ve moved to Milwaukee, I’ve gone back while visiting family and continue to be impressed!
I recently visited in preparation for my wedding and nearly every salon service was excellent. My stylist did an amazing job on my hair — it was exactly what I hoped for. My makeup was unlike anything I’ve ever worn before, but somehow looked gorgeous on me. My pedicure was amazing, and my manicure was fun, though not quite perfect (minor complaint).
My favorite things about this salon; things that make it really unique: beverages offered upon welcome (the iced tea is really yummy and wine is perfect for a fancy spa/​salon day), unbelievably friendly staff — all of them, and lastly I really appreciate the professionalism. It’s nice to know that you’ll receive stellar service, but won’t be expected to tip and the tip won’t contribute at all to the service you receive on future visits. I often feel awkward about tipping at a salon, so this situation works out perfectly for me.
The only area in which they could improve: get a bigger sign! When some friends and family tried to meet me there for the wedding styles, they had some trouble figuring out exactly where it was.
