Q Nails

This is my second visit to Q Nails for a pedicure. It is a newer place with very nice chairs. I didn’t make an appointment this time and was seated immediately. My pedicure was done very nicely and I am very happy with the experience.

I was very disappointed with this nail salon. We had eight girls in our group all getting manicures and pedicures for an upcoming wedding. We had made reservations far in advance, yet there were only two people working in the nail salon, we all had to wait a very long time to receive the services we had requested. Within the first hour with only 2 people done, they called in a man to help with all of the pedicures and manicures since other people continued to come in for services but were turned away due to our large group. We felt very rushed, and after seeing how my nails turned out, I know that I could have done a better job on my nails if I would have done them myself. The nail wasn’t completely covered with paint and it was uneven. When I was trying to find the nail color for my nails, I tried them on my nails ahead of time, all of their polish was really old, clumpy and goopy. My cousins had half of their glitter nail polish chip off by the next morning. I was also disappointed since the price on the
website showed $ 33 for their Mani-​Pedi combo, whereas we all paid $ 35 each not including tax and tip. Everyone knows that weddings can be very expensive and this includes being in the wedding party, I was doing the research to find the most affordable hair and nail salons with good Unilocal ratings for the entire group, so it is disappointing when the prices are higher in the store than listed online. I would not recommend this nail salon for all the reasons listed above.

Stopped in here about a month ago to remove acrylics and do a gel manicure they did a wonderful job!

When I Googled nail salons in St. Cloud last week, this was the one I knew I should go to. But a coworker recommended the place she goes to. It was a disaster. I didn’t get what I wanted in the slightest, and my acrylic nails were barely attached to my nails! 20 minutes later, I was at Q Nails, almost in tears begging them to take the acrylics off. Everyone in the salon was so nice and caring. The patience, and precision the woman took removing my nails was astounding, she kept warning me that my nails would hurt, and they never did. She told me to wait a week, and the come back to get them done again. Today I did. Luckily I got the same lovely woman. She did exactly what I wanted with the precision and care I couldn’t have dreamed of. I don’t get my nails done very often, but I’ll never go anywhere else. This salon is so friendly, so caring, and so good at what they do. I can’t stress enough to go to Q Nails. These woman deserve your business.

Love the friendly service, quality work, and great prices! I called ahead on a Sunday (holiday weekend) to see if open; was able to get an appt and had no wait. I will definitely be back.

this is the best manicure place in st cloud that i have been to; it’s the forth ive tried. it would get a 4 star if it were in a big city with more competition but it gets a 5’er cause it aint.
sure, when you call and they say they can take you «now» it may mean you have to wait 20 minutes, but that is pretty typical in my experience.
ive been twice now and they have been great in terms of quality. at other places in town they do crap cuticle work and don’t paint down all the way– this counts as you can go an extra week or so on a gel manicure. i of course push it til the new nail is as lengthy as the painted bit.
they even stayed open late once to finish. they have done three coats when necessary. prices are about the same as anywhere else. save yourself the time and just come here.
