Good egg salad sandwich. The potato salad was fresh and tasty. The almond cookies were very tasty with a nice cup of coffee.

A couple of grandmas churning out the baked goods. Sounds like a sure bet and the kind of place you root for, right? Well… it mostly is. They do a very good job keeping stuff fresh and interesting. Is this the best pastry-type stuff you’ve ever shoved into your gullet? That probably depends on your relative experience and the city in which you live. For me, it’s a resounding no, but to be fair, I have a wealth of experience in that department that most people not only don’t have, but probably won’t. Suffice to say, they hit all the right notes, have a solid fountain selection, are very friendly and affable people and do a consistently solid job. This is the kind of place I’d hit up if I wanted to just grab something and go and it will probably be most useful in that respect overall.

Lark is amazing! If you can, meet her and the sweets will not only taste amazing, but will be filled with the love of a Grandma!

When we came up for a Girls Weekend my friend told me we had to go find Grandma Tobler. I’m thinking– Is this your Grandma? ;) But Grandma Tobker apparently started in Santa Clara in a little house– and then they graduated to this location. The family uses all of Grandma’s recipes. It’s such a cute little restaurant/bakery. It’s kinda hard to find being tucked in the back. I remember driving sound and yelling out Grandma!!! LOL! Fun times… I loved the discount goods. Especially the Orange/Raspberry rolls. A must!

At the kite festival we had the ham & cheese, sloppy Joe, and fruited chicken croissant with potato salad. And some cookies. I’m sure the prices were inflated and portion sizes smaller for the festival. I would hope that at the restaurant would serve more than 3 bites of potato salad for a side. And I would hope they wouldn’t charge that much… Anyway everything was very tasty! The ham & cheese would have been better if served warm. The cookies were yummy!

Settled for this place when the egg and I was too crowded. ordered the big breakfast, which consisted of watery eggs microwave bacon, hashbrown, and sauceage. Also a biscut. If microwave breakfast is what you are into this is the place for you. For me I this low quality of food that grandma didn’t even attempt to make was very disapounting. The baked goods looked very good just Do Not order the breakfast. I hope grandma reads this and puts some effort into her breakfast or doesn’t bother offering it.

Food looks pretty — but — very flavorless pastries — does not taste fresh — apple turnover was flavorless, eclairs didn’t taste fresh, pumpkin tart was okay, sticky pecan bun didn’t have any real flavor — not worth the money — staff was extremely friendly and very nice.

The desserts are good. Not overly sweet. We got lemon bar, seven layer bar, fudge brownie, lemon spritz cookie, cheese croissant and a chicken pot pie. The chicken pot pie is good too. Overall a good experience. Fair prices and delicious treats

Super yummy! Fantastic breakfast! We enjoyed our breakfast. The girl at the counter was very helpful and sweet. Had everything we wanted. They do need to so something with their bacon… hash browns need help. Other than that I’m satisfied.

Nice mom and pop bakery. The lady inside was cool and told me about the dinners they serve on certain nights. I just had eaten a corn dog previously so I picked out some cookies for take out. I don’t know the names of all the cookies but the one that resembles and tastes like a Mexican wedding cookie was really good. I should have gotten more if those but next time I will. My wife stops in here and loves everything she’s had. Next time I will try and pass on the famous corn dog man down(his corn dogs are excellent by the way) in the Ace Hardware parking lot to try a sandwich here for lunch.

What a sweet little find! I first spotted Grandma Tobler’s Bakery while sitting in the Starbucks across from it in the same parking lot, so I decided after my coffee to walk over and see what they had to offer. I’d call first before visiting if it’s closer to 4 pm because they have a special«Friday Dinner» every now and then and they stay open until 8 pm on those days. Other days the bakery closes earlier and is closed completely on Sundays. I happened to stop in on a Friday around 4 pm and they were getting ready to serve dinner, but the nice lady working inside said I could still come on in because the bakery was still open too. Score! I scanned the glass case and saw such a tasty looking variety of baked goods. I picked out some cookies to-go and a «Orange Roll» to eat inside. Inside was very clean and the lady who helped me was genuinely friendly and caring about the type of product and service she is putting out here at Grandma Tobler’s Bakery. The cookies were 79 cents each or $ 3.95 for 6, so I went with 6. Each one was soft, delicious and baked from scratch. I will be back to try more cookies in the future! I have to say the highlight of my experience was the Orange Roll. After I picked it out and said I’d like to eat it inside, the nice lady warmed it up for me and brought it to the table I was sitting at along with my cookies she boxed up. The glaze had a nice citrus taste and was sweet in a good way. The roll was warm and so soft! As long as Grandma Tobler’s Bakery keeps putting out these tasty gems, I will certainly be stopping by to consume more! During the normal bakery hours you can also have breakfast or lunch. They offer breakfast burritos and sandwiches until 11 am and after that they have lunch salads and sandwiches. You can call your order ahead if you know what you want.

Grandma Toblers Bakery makes some great desserts, pastries, breads, etc. I haven’t been there for a meal, but I have gone for dessert and I wasn’t disappointed. Try a glazed orange roll or pain au chocolat, you won’t be disappointed. I appreciate the location, on North Bluff at the Sunset Corner Development. It is easy to access from most parts of town. This is a good alternative to Kneaders.

This place is really something. The interior décor will(should) make you laugh. They have good sandwiches and it’s not a bad place to stop in for lunch if you are in the area.

I’ve been here a few times over the years and just went again over thanksgiving. Rolls are great and the pecan pie was perhaps the best I have ever had.

Yummy baked goods! The chocolate croissant was amazing, and the donut that my daughter had was so big she could only eat half! Everything in the cases looked great, and I can’t wait to try some more. There was a custom cake getting boxed on the counter that was huge and looked pretty — might be a much better option than the typical grocery store cake.
