According to their humble menu their grand opening was in September of 2014. The restaurant is authentic food of Ecuador. My husband is a pure Ecuadoran native. His mom, my mother in law (MIL), passed away several years ago and when we see an Ecuadoran restaurant, we immediately go seeking the food his mom would make.
The restaurant upon view looks like your tipical store front, very small but upon entering large with wamth and friendliness. Its a sit yourself and smell ummmm aroma of sitting in your moms kitchen and enjoying her food and comfort. I had the shrimp ceviche which was delicious! The shrimps were small but then I was kinda spoiled with my MIL. It was Good Friday. On this day, no meat is eaten, according to their deep religious beliefs. So, this meal they call Fanesca, not sure if spelled right, is made with several types of beans, fish and root vegetables, yucca, potatoes, corn on the cob. My husband was delighted. Excellent meal with the broth. Not his mom’s but very close second.
The people in the restaurant were very friendly and engaged us in conversation. We met the owner, her name is Bella! I would definitely recommend this restaurant. I wish them success. If they continue in this way, I know they will get a much larger establishment to serve their amazing food.

Good food at a great price. I particularly enjoy their seafood soup. I eat here whenever I’m in the area.

It’s a very small place with little seating but it was totally worth it. The food was phenomenal! Everything was fresh and flavorful. It was a wonderful introduction to Ecuadorian food. I had the pepper steak over rice and an empanada. Everything was amazing, especially the homemade hot sauce. I will be back!!!
