Extraordinary !! I have to admit, I was pleasantly surprised when invited to meet family here and we had dinner. I didn’t expect a place in a strip mall shopping center to be of this caliber. Super pleasant staff, very professional and eager to please. For appetizers we ordered the special — vegetable Brie tart. OMG — was out of this world !! Dinner was 2 orders of the short ribs, one duck dinner and one salmon. All were absolutely outstanding. Can’t believe I’m going to say this but — def Manhattan quality food. Dessert was pre-ordered … We all got the soufflé that was equally outstanding. Forgot one thing, the side dish they made of string beans with tomatoes — amazing. Order that for sure !! The one thing I have to note as well is. The place is absolutely SPOTLESS. IMMACULATE. I love that … Don’t miss this, it’s a must !!!

love this little bistro. I tried their $ 50 fixed price menu for 5 coursed. They are delicious. The presentation is elegant. The price for wine is really reasonable. It is romantic and quite place. We glad there is a little place like this in nearby neighborhood.

I came here for a business meeting, and this restaurant was perfect for that purpose. It’s tastefully decked out with all the holiday decorations, and warm and inviting inside. The service was friendly and helpful but not intrusive. I had a three course meal-salad with basalmic vinaigrette, salmon, and chocolate mousse cake. The salad was pretty disappointing with only mesclun and overly salty dressing. The salmon however was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The side of rice was a bit overcooked. I love chocolate anything, and the mousse cake was ok but not rich enough in chocolate flavor. Overall, not a bad meal but nothing to write home about.

Taste of the food was excellent. Portions a tad on the small side. Compare to Le Soir in Bayport. for the same price you get soup and salad. Service was good. Décor was cozy. The restaurant was pretty much empty when we were there, unfortunately. It’s not the quality of the food keeping people away, it’s the bill. With a 5 to 10% cost reduction I’d be here more regularly, but as is it’s a special occasion type place only. I don’t know where 2 $‘s comes from, this is an easy $ 100+ if you have wine and desert.

A quaint French Bistro that my husband and I have been looking forward to trying after reading many good reviews online. It didn’t quite measure up to expectations, but wasn’t bad either. We enjoyed the roasted beet and tuna carpaccio for a first course. I enjoyed the branzino for my entrée, but my husband ordered the skirt steak special and was disappointed by it’s toughness. We shared the chocolate soufflé for dessert and found it to be a bit strange with a strong eggy flavor. Service was attentive and the portion size is appropriate. Previous reviewers complaining of small portions must be accustomed to typical oversized restaurant meals we Americans have come to expect, but certainly don’t need.

This is my second time going to Voila the Bistro. Every time is superb. Yes, the portions are some what small, but the taste and quality are amazing. The filet melts in your mouth. You can also bring your own bottle of wine, without an uncorking fee. Great hidden gem!

Food was fabulous in taste and presentation, but portions are small. I had the sea scallops and there were only three, dressed with delicate mashed potato swirls and tender young string beans. The price fixe was $ 32 and included an appetizer, entrée and dessert. All delicious, but definitely more than a 2 dollar sign range of prices. Their a/c was not very strong and the smoke from the kitchen in the adjacent area brought on an asthma attack for one of my friends. There was no a/c on the bar and bathroom side of the restaurant — brutally stifling, as it was in the mid 90’s today and we ate there in the early evening. Service was nice, but water is served without ice. I asked for ice in my refill and did not receive it. The ambiance is lovely and quiet and the staff does not rush you at all. I would go back if the portions were slightly larger and the a/c and venting from the kitchen area were improved. Otherwise, a return trip is not in the cards.

A favorite to which we return regularly. One of the few fairly priced French restaurants in our area. Small, not formal, owner greets customers warmly. Good seafood, superb desserts, food skillfully prepared and creatively presented. Go for the prix fixe dinner – delectable range of options. Service is very good.
