This place is great. Awesome burgers and food selection of beer. The Moscow mule is great too

Good food. The wait staff was friendly but running around so much they made you feel rushed. Brew Pub ?? Had beers from a lot of other Brewers. All in all I would go back but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

The name is weird(a derivation of their address) and the location is not easy to find. Yes, it is in an industrial park. But the food is good and I love the new bar room. The bartenders are helpful. We love the dining room for breakfast. Last time we were there 95ate5 was serving a lot of local brews and had not started their own brewing yet. I’m looking forward to seeing what they do with their own brews and food pairings. I would absolutely attend a brew dinner here.

So glad to have found this hidden place. You would never guess that upscale bar food would be found in an industrial park. Those big metal tubes have a lot more character than I thought. There’s both a bar area and dining area that’s good for a night out or family dining. I love the local tap list. I had the specialty brews from 18th Street and Wildrose Brewing while I was there. They also have a full bar available and a solid wine selection. I started out with the beer cheese and crackers and followed up with the brisket sandwich. I almost wanted to lick the plate clean after I was done. I would go back solely for that.

You gotta wanna get here to get here, but if you make the trip you will not be disappointed. This is a new, family built, owned, and run brew pub and restaurant. When I expressed disappointment at the lack of IPAs on tap, Bill, the owner, came out from the huge kitchen, listened to my plea, and brought out a new keg which he tapped just for us, Monkey Junk from Route 2 Brewing. Amazing. The food was terrific, lots of interesting things to choose from not just the usual pub fare. Try it. You will be back.

Perch dinner was great! They had live music that night that was pretty good. The dude playing… I think his name was Frank Ruvoli was just as good as the perch. I’d be back. Very cozy joint

We finally had a chance to try this place when our friends invited us to dinner. It is definitely in a odd location for a restaurant — appeared to be an industrial park next to railroad tracks. There were four of us and we were seated right away. There was a bar and dining area. The bar area was on the smaller side, but probably adequate for the space. The server was pleasant, but it took over 20 minutes to get our drinks. They offer several local craft brews. The live band is great if you aren’t trying to have a conversation. Our table ordered perch, ribs, and smothered chicken. All were good. Ribs fell off the bone as they should. We will definitely be back.

A hidden gem! I love this place. My fiancé and love going to their Sunday brunch! Good quality food for a reasonable price.

Not at all what I expected, but in a good way. As others have said, it’s in an odd location, but the food is wonderful and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Word must be getting out about this place because it got pretty busy while we were there, which is great to see a local business do well. Decent craft beer selection, though I hope they eventually up their tap list. Awesome find and will definitely be back for drinks or a delicious meal! Keep up the great work!

Great food, service, rotating craft beer, and weekly music in a family dining /brewpub hybrid location! One of the best places in Northwest Indiana! While it is off the beaten path a bit, the journey is definitely worth it!

Just finished dinner at 95ate5. I had the Monterey chicken and my wife had the Smothered chicken. Both were delicious. The service was fast and everyone was very friendly. Our meals were reasonably priced too. The restaurant is a little off the beaten path, but well worth the drive! We will definitely be back.

The service was very good, the food was decent except we had to send a patty melt burger back because it was ordered well done, but was served medium rare. When it was brought back it was overcooked and the bread was burnt. It has a good craft beer selection. The bar area seems a little cramped.

Very good food. Great service. I would highly recommend if you can find it. I had the Monterey chicken and the tomato bread. Both were excellent. I will definitely eat here again.

Stumbled onto this great place yesterday, and we’ll definitely be going back. They’ve got a great craft beer selection and great food, too. The owners, who seem very passionate about what they do, will be rolling out their own brews soon. They also feature some interesting liquor(try the Teddy Beer shot), and even an organic line of spirits. I wasn’t expecting a place like this in northwest Indiana! Well done! My only criticism would be that although the place is pretty big, the actual bar top is small, so chances are you’ll sit at a table. I loved this place, and look forward to going back soon!

I don’t know how long this place has been open, only saw an ad just recently at Anytime Fitness. They have a great menu and the best craft selection around. Location is weird, with side entry from street. But the inside is very inviting. The staff is also helpful in helping you choose what to eat. The only negative thing I have to say is, I wish they had advertised more so I knew it existed, now I’m moving to Atlanta. We would have made this a weekly stop. Best food in Saint John.

We tried this place last night, and will definitely go back. The service was great, the food was absolutely delicious and they had a great selection of craft beers to try as well as domestics, wine and liquor. Can’t wait to try something else in the menu. Even the apps sound great! The interior looks really nice and they did a great job on their bar.

Really liked this place. Tried the battered bratwurst stuffed with jalapeño(5⁄5), crab cakes(5⁄5), wings(4⁄5), steakhouse burger(3⁄5), fat Jack burger(7/5…it was that good). The only thing is the burger was not the most juicy, but it still had a great taste. I really loved the appetizers and really enjoyed the onion rings and sweet potatoes fries, as well as the creamy mac-n-cheese that was not piping hot, but still tasted good. All in all, it was a great experience, and I will definitely be back. They have local beers that I do not see at other places, so that is a huge plus. Great selection of brews, but definitely stick to the on tap stuff because that is the point!

The owners of this place have an awesome reputation, and 95ate5 is no exception to their brand. Everything is fresh and full of flavor, and the new addition of the pub just adds to their amazing food. If you’re a first timer, go for any of their roasted meats. They’re masters of the craft.(My personal favorite is the Wanderer). And if you don’t know what beer to pick, try the Dirty Bastard Scotch Ale. You won’t be disappointed.

This is a great little brewpub. Off the beaten path a little bit(OK, odd location, but don’t let that deter you) but really a shocker in a good way when you walk in. Family friendly area, along with a separate over 21 bar seating area. There were several local guest taps, including a few popular out of state breweries.(laguanitas, 18th street). Also a very nice bottle selection. Surpassed my expectations. Went on a Tues. night, and not many people at all. Worried me at first, but after getting my food, all worries disappeared. Had the brisket sandwich and sweet potato fries. Loved it. Wife had perch, which was also great. All the food was fresh tasting. Pricing was good also especially for the quality of the food. Will definitely be going back.
