Motel 6

BED BUGS! Do not stay here until they get it under control! We stayed out of desperation last weekend. It was one of the last rooms available for hundreds of miles and the reviews on here seemed alright. I’ve stayed at my share of Motel 6’s for work, so I reasoned, how bad could it be? It’s actually one of the remodeled ones, which is nice, and the staff was friendly. The only problem is that within 45 minutes of checking in and laying down on the bed to relax, the real one star merits showed themselves. I was using my laptop and watching tv when all of a sudden, a giant, nasty BED BUG sauntered out of the pillow case and waltzed across my chest! Do not be fooled if you look around and don’t see them at first. They are attracted to heat! My laptop is what brought them out of hiding. Sure enough, we checked around and there were others. We quickly gathered our things and checked out immediately. The receptionist did not seem surprised, which lends me to believe that we were not the first to check out that room that evening, possibly being why it was one of the only rooms left in the area. Bed bugs lay eggs in places that house keeping will not be able to anticipate (like air vents and inside of televisions). They move through walls, too, so if our room was infested, who knows which rooms they’re also in? We were in the back building for what it’s worth, if you absolutely dare to chance it, but an infestation is super super hard to get rid of. You’re honestly better off sleeping in the Walmart parking lot like we ended up having to do. Pity, since we’d just driven for 14 hrs. and were looking forward to being able to rest.

Pretty basic, it was just your run of the mill motel stay. However, the staff were SO kind and went out of their way to make me feel welcome. The price of the room was unbeatable too! No mini fridge or microwave though. I’d stay here again.

Great place to stay. The people who work there really go the extra mile to make you feel welcomed. clean and safe with out hurting your budget. A+

Wow. The interior is so nice. The is one of the nicest Motel 6 I’ve stayed in. The price is really reasonable as well.
The gentleman who checked me in had a sense of humor, which I appreciate since it’s been a long day.
There are tons of restaurants and many within walking distance as 12 hours in the car and I was over it. I would highly recommend this location.

This room was extremely dirty. Stains on the covers & sheets, hairs on the sheets, keypad falling off, heated not working It was 30 degrees outside. We asked for another room which they transferred us to. This room was more dirty then the other. Being very tired I asked the lady for a set of sheets. Her reply was I cant give any out & offered me a refund. A very dirty motel with rude staff. Not recommended at all.

Basic economy hotel. Clean. $ 39.95 night, plus $ 2.99 for internet if you need it. They provide soap in the room, but no shampoo!!!
