There was a fresh coat of paint on everything and it seemed like they had done cosmetic renovation in the last few years. That being said. The drain in the shower was very slow and you will end up standing in your dirty water.(kinda a peev of mine.) The volume on the TV was so low that it couldn’t be heard over the noisy rattling A/C unit without making adjustments in the menu. The beds were adequate but on day three we found a little blood on the fitted sheet… so… they either changed us into dirty sheets or didn’t change them they like we asked. Either way there was blood and we don’t know for sure to whom it belonged. They offered us clean sheets and my wife and I changed the bed. Free breakfast at these places aren’t usually outta this world and this one was no exception. Cold biscuits pre-cooked egg circles, sausage links, waffles. etc… The WiFi was a joke. so slow it wouldn’t load Unilocal so I could complain. 2 stars.

We pulled into this hotel 2 hours before check in and not 1 car was in the parking lot. We have 2 small kids and we had been traveling all day. We were aware that the hotel had a 3:00 check in but since they had 0 cars we thought they could make an exception most reputable hotels would. This was not the case. Their poor customer service lead us to Stoney Creek down the street. We did pay a little more for the room but Good customer service is worth it. I would not recommend Comfort Suites!

This place was definitely interesting. We arrived 20 minutes early to check-in and were told no rooms were ready, come back at 3pm. We sat in the car for 20 minutes and went back in to now stand in a line of people. We waited a half hour as only one person can check you in. Took the elevator upstairs and it smells like dust and old. The key to the room worked perfectly the first time but never after that. Continually had to go to the front desk and have it reeked to our room. As there were 5 of us, we got a double queen room and my soon stayed on the sofa bed. He had to request sheets even though we had at booking. When it came to bed time, he got out the blanket and it had stains all over it. He went down to the front desk for a blanket and pillows, as there weren’t any for his bed, he was told they were out. He got pillows the next night and a blanket finally on the third night. As there were 5 of us, they couldn’t seem to understand that we needed 5 towels for showers. A plus for them is they are located right next to the mall, the Cracker Barrel and a place called Le Peeps, which always had a line out it. Would I stay here again… ummm no. Go else were.

Their original Unilocal page lists this place as closed, but unfortunately, it’s not. If it were, it would have saved me a day/night of pain and disgust. I’ve stayed here a few times over the years while traveling and while it had been a while, there are points of room 125 that I didn’t recall from previous stays. Namely… — The mildewy smell of the room — The smell of urine in the bathroom The Holiday Inn in downtown was the same price, but I chose this place due to its proximity to I-29. I decided to leave early because I was worried that the stench would stick to me and annoy whoever sat next to me on my flight home. There are positives as free parking is plentiful, there is an extra side door that you can use to strategically get to your room faster, and the wi-fi is free and works perfectly. However, if you have other options, do take them!
