It is what it is. An American beachside pizza joint. The pizza is between good and OK while the price is right. I don’t live in St. Joseph but I grab a slice or two from this place whenever I visit and will be back again.

Great pizza, nice beer, marvelous view. It was a treat to stop here on my way back from Grand Rapids to Indianapolis. We sat up in the 21+ section on a beautiful June afternoon. The breeze felt heavenly as we drank our Bell’s 2 Hearted schooners. We ordered a greek salad and the garlic greek pizza — both exceeded our expectations. The salad was refreshing and crisp with an oregano vinaigrette. Feta and olives were generous. The pizza was slighly spicy and delicious. I love the magic they work with the crispy cheese on the edges — so tasty! Will be back as soon as we pass through again.

Good Pizza. More pan style vs thin crust. Anti pasta salad was good. Quick and easy to pick up food and get your toes back in the sand!

The food is good but they are very disorganized. I called ahead a few times and was told the did not take reservations. I called 15 minutes before I arrived and there was no wait. Then when I arrived I was told it was an hour wait even though there were open tables. They were saving 50 seats for a reservation they had made.
You either take reservations or you don’t!

My family lives on the beach here and we are regulars. I’ve loved the addition of upstairs, the pizza is always excellent, and service has always been friendly and on point.
He only drawback is the wait, but it’s the beach and the best pizza in town.

SBP is seriously the best! How is it not on the top 10 in Michigan??? The garlic Greek is so delicious I could eat it everyday. They also have a great beer menu and ice cold schooners to drink out of.
Don’t miss out on this even if the line is long! You won’t be disappointed

Silver beach pizza. What can I say I love this place. The environment try provide is good for families, a date or a night out with the girls. The reservation only 21 and up area is just an amazing feature to have and makes for a good kids free environment. The different styles of pizza make for a great meal for everyone. Oh most definitely go back over and over!!!

Checked in using nowait app. When I called she said 45 – 1 hour… Was really more like 10 minutes.
Seated on patio– near RR tracks. Quick friendly service and really good pizza: margarhita pizza, underground pizza cheese pizza all ordered.
Also tried the Irish nachos and the mozzarella sticks both of which were very good!
I would come again and then future if I am ever in St. Joseph and I do think it is worth a try!

I am from Chicago and have had some pretty awesome pizza, but this was one of the best I’ve tasted. We had UJ’s Sunburst, so full of flavor.
Service was great and didn’t have to wait, but would have! Kelsie was our server and very attentive. Five stars to her. Jalepeno infused vodka in the Bloody Mary was down right tasty.
If in St. Joseph Silver Beach Pizza is a must. Call ahead.

WOW! The patio was a nice place to sit and enjoy the breeze and the view. We got a large pepperoni, mushroom and garlic and a gluten-​free garlic greek pizza. Both were delicious! Gluten-​free was impressive. DON’T MISS THIS PLACE!

Great service, decent prices, every detail delicious. The «parugula» pizza (arugula, prosciutto, some other toppings) was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. Order a salad or appetizer, as the pizza did take a little while to arrive. We had a 20-​minute wait for two people at 7:30 p.m. on a Saturday; simply went for a walk to enjoy the views and check out the carousel while we waited. A+

Traveled through and stopped here for some pizzas and drinks. Very happy we did. Pizzas were awesome. We had a Hawaiian and one with pepperoni and green peppers. Great thin crust and tasty sauce. Solid drink selection. They have a great selection of Journeyman whisky which is always a good choice. Will be back if through the area again

The calzone was amazing! Homemade sauce was truly homemade and we loved it! The parking was a little confusing but the atmosphere is so neat. They did a great job on making the place their own while also keeping the train station roots. Around there is so much to do within walking distance (beach, discovery center, carousel, park, sightseeing, downtown, etc.). Being a mom I always judge places based on their kid friendliness and bathrooms. This place exceeded my expectations on both of those. Cleanest bathroom and baby station I’ve been to at a restaurant yet. Highly recommend!

YUM! I have been dying to go here for years and finally got to go. Located right next to the train station, it’s a perfect first stop in to Saint Joseph. We started with the fried pickle spears that were perfect. Honestly best I have ever had. Highly recommend getting 2 orders to share for a party of 4+. One order is perfect for a group of 1 – 3. For dinner, we got a large garlic Greek and a large undertow. For our party 5, this was the perfect amount (2 being very hungry boys). We definitely had some leftovers but who doesn’t love leftover pizza the next day? My favorite of the two was the garlic Greek. It was the perfect amount of garlic that wasn’t over whelming at all but just simply delicious. Prepare to wait a bit when you arrive, so arrive earlier than you are planning to eat. Although no one likes to wait, this place is definitely worth it!

Crowded and busy with locals and visitors. They offer call ahead seating and they take reservations for the second floor. The second floor is less hectic and has a great view, so snag a reservation if you can. Prices are reasonable even for a vacation town and food is hearty. Parking lot is a mess– walk instead of drive if you can.

Pizza as always is spot on. I’ve never been disappointed here. A child at the table to our right got a container of pizza dough to play with while waiting for his food. Adorable.

I love this pizza place. It’s one of the best ones I have had, and within walking distance from the beach, which makes it very convenient. Try the carousel… one of my favorites! Also the Garlic Greek it’s a great choice if you like garlic.
They also have a good selection of draft beers. Of course Bell’s is my favorite!

I stopped in for a schooner of beer with my husband. We sat at the bar and the bartender brought our beers right away. It was very crowded in Saturday afternoon but I thought we still had decent service. We did not eat in this visit but I know from past visits that the pizza is awesome! It was chilly over the weekend so they did not have the windows open. The best time to eat at Silver Beach Pizza is on a warm sunny day!
It looks like they are adding on to the restaurant & bar. I will have to visit again soon and look at the improvements.
Overall– great view of Lake Michigan, delicious tasting food, and attentive servers. I will go the next time I’m in St. Joe!
