Like the title says, Biggest Bar in St. Louis. Plenty of seating outside underneath all the large trees. Full bar and pub food. The place gets packed on the weekends so come early and plan on staying awhile.

Went here to get dinner and have a few drinks. The waitress we had didn’t know what she was doing. She was just trying way to hard to be nice but it wasn’t working. She kept stumbling over her words and was way to nervous. We ordered drinks and she got 2 of our drinks wrong. We asked for a margarita with 100% agave tequila. Bartender doesn’t even know if he has that let alone even what that means. We ordered food and some of the people with our party got there food before others in our party did. By the time some of us got our food others were all ready done eating. Won’t be back

Sat outside for food during the summer. Food was ok… I got the chicken and it was good! Hubster wasnt thrilled with his sammy. However, fries are extra fory fish? Eh. I understand upgrading a side to say a soup or salad. I stuck with mashed taters. Drinks good. Service decent. Havent been at night time because i am not a dance party kinda girl. Best bar in the world? Thats a pretty high claim. I would say decent bar, but best bar? Nah

Let’s call this place as it is standard bar. It isn’t fancy or unique, but there is a lot to be said about a venue that invites comradery, comfort, chit chat and a little bit of chaos. You can go here to watch a game, grab a drink, hit on someone and perhaps succeed, as there are a large number of patrons, and to get down on the dance floor. The space is large with an open floor, seating throughout, multiple bars and television screens, which allows for moments to step away, chat, and when ready, jump into the thrall of the movement on the dance floor. This place is dark, loud, and massive; thus, it is made for the masses. Check the pretension at the door, walk in, enjoy the company, and let loose. By morning, you’ll find a night well spent.

Cool place. Amazing patio. Inside smells like urinal cake. Inside bartender was cool, she was nice and attentive. Outside bartender was some Duesh trying to get laid, pretty sure he was getting played for free drinks. I don’t know if I will go back or not.

Had a GC. Figured I’d have a bite and a drink or two before watching my friend dj as part of the opening ceremonies for Pridefest. There were a few large parties so it was busy-ish but not packed. I love music. Listen to it all the time. Loud mostly. The music was so effing loud that I had to ask the bartender, Sierra to repeat herself multiple times. The appetizer skins came at the same time as the sandwich, which Sierra apologized for and said she’d adjust my bill accordingly. The skins and sammich were good. More props to Sierra for noticing I needed more sour cream at the exact same moment I was going to ask her for more. The app and sammich arriving together was not a big deal since I was dining solo, and props to Sierra for offering to make a potential issue solved. I’m sorry what? Yeah, the music is that effing loud. I noticed she was making A LOT of Long Islands. Sure, why not. But why serve a $ 7 drink in a plastic cup? I hate plastic cups for cocktails. I asked her to transfer it to a real glass, she asked why, and I told her at my age, I deserve my cocktail served in a glass glass. There were 3 guys sitting at the bar next to me who I believed worked there, but they were drinking booze so I figured they must just be hanging out, talking shop on their day off. Surely they’re not getting liquored up before their Friday night shift? When the shop talk consists of homophobic remarks, it gets personal. I wrote Sierra a little note on my bill expressing my disdain for this asshat. Keep you homophobic comments to yourself there, Junior. I have one more gift certificate, but that is the only reason I’ll be back to this location. The Soulard location is so much more laid back and professional. Big Daddy’s On the Landing seemed like a loud, bad frat party.

Bartender was mad that we walked in and giving her business and she didn’t get to eat. Ordered 3 drinks and was trying to charge us for 4. Asked us to play trivia and we didn’t want to play and the staff gave us crap for not playing. Staff was horrible. Will never come back to this bar again. Lazy staff that was very uninviting and rude.

Meh. Don’t expect to be blown away by this typical 3am bar. $ 20 to park and $ 5 to get in.

Went here last night with a group of friends it was our first time to this Big Daddy’s location. I had a great time the same for was fun and much bigger than the one in Edwardsville the only thing I didn’t like is that there is a cover charge JUST for the men which I thought was stupid and I wasn’t expecting but it’s not a bad time.

The food was great for the price. The boyfriend and I stopped in for lunch while we awaited our time a lot for the tour of the arch. The waitress was friendly and our Mercia margarita was great!

Total crap! Bartender didnt know what a mojito was. Ordered a beer instead and didn’t have that selection either. Was told they didn’t have a lot of the beers on menu because it was an old menu??? Next our appetizer came out and that was potato skins with a sour cream package on the side. HORRIBLE! Finally my wifes and my meals came out but our kids meals never came! The menu said«Best burger in the world». This burger couldn’t compete with a two day old white castle burger that has been reheated.

So just went to big daddy’s not a huge fan what so ever. The service was bleh. Seemed like our bartender/waiter was out of it and didn’t care too much about the service. He was horrible. Think his name was Martin or Ryan. He started to do better at the end when it seemed like he started to wake up. I got the tuna melt… it was real greasy to me. The food is average nothing to brag about. Nothing really seems to stick out from this place. It seems dirty and in a big warehouse that was transformed into a bar/pub. They didn’t seem very knowledgeable about their cocktails or drinks period. Will I come back to this place? Ummm probably not unless I’m forced to.

Waitress was very rude, place was dirty and there was 4 people there on a Wednesday night. They wouldn’t play any music. Clearly they have no business because of this reason. We had been years before and had the same issues and made the mistake to try again and sure enough got the same.

We heard about this place at the hotel, and went before a game. Very crowded, lively, etc. We only had drinks, and the make your own Bloody Mary bar was quite good.

Big Daddy’s is one of the best places to visit while on the landing. The have drink specials, a DJ& that one guy who always hangs out and tries to sell roses and teddy bears. LOL Either way fun fun place to go. Note: Tons of bachelor/ette parties end up here!

If you thought dancing was outlawed in St Louis, you clearly haven’t been to big daddy’s on the landing. Its sort of like a St louis style rave, no glow sticks or techno, but less TVs and lots of dancing in what seems sort of like an abandoned warehouse. Not my cup of tea, but if you are looking to get weird with a variety of characters and bachelorette parties, this is probably where you should go.

Disgustingly crowded late Saturday night/early Sunday morning… with the finest trash in the St. Louis area. No, I’m not a fan of the club scene, and this is why. Normally I only give a single attribute one star. Let me emphasize the high esteem in which I hold the big hurricane buckets: they alone earn the two stars for Big Daddy’s. If I ever come back, it will be for a hurricane.

Why 3 stars? Because this was my welcome to St. Louis. — — — Loud music. No people. Lots of colorful lights on a person-less dance floor. Way too much space: human ratio. Poor Beer selection. Big Daddy — your 3-stars is because my time spent here was probably an unfair representation of your potential. I had never been to STL and wanted to check out the area. It was an interesting, brief experience. One that, I probably wouldn;‘t replicate.

Party Bar– by combining elements from bars & dance clubs to create a place everyone can go to & equally hate because the establishment is neither(yet, people still party & hook-up). Big Daddy’s is the St Louis«Party Bar» From a normal bar– a «Party Bar» is open for happy hour & appetizers, have tables & chairs, beer tubs, numerous big TVs showing sports and casual dress codes. From a dance club– a «Party Bar» uses a big dance floor, DJs playing recognizable dance hits and quick serve(limited selection) bottle beer & mixed drinks. Yes, I see«Woo girls» , bachelorette parties and tourist wanting to party and I understand that. Yeah, I thought of this my last visit while sitting back enjoying the ½ priced Buffalo Chicken Nachos for patio happy hour till 7PM. I find it funny that I gained perspective away from the Big Daddy’s Landing weekend late night chaos.(I am a fan of the late patio happy hour & sometimes the weekend after midnight insanity.) BONUS– Buy a «I’m a virgin(this is an old t-shirt)»
