I have had the pleasure of dining at Joey B’s on the Hill. Unfortunately, the one down on the Landing is not the best. There was only a handful of customers there on Sunday night, 12÷27÷15, but as slow as they were you would think it was jampacked and so busy! The two waitresses would go MIA at stretches. I don’t know whether folks called in sick in the kitchen or what the problem was. A great customer-service oriented server should have advised us what the problem was… but they didn’t seem to care. We were almost late to the event which brought us down to that area. We got there around 5:30pm and didn’t leave until 7:30pm for an event that we had to be at by 7:45pm or else! RIDICULOUS! The appetizer sampler was very good. We ordered the Veggie Hater. My boys and friend liked the pizza. I didn’t like the taste at all. I don’t know what kind of weird cheese that was, but I won’t make that mistake again! I gave our server a 20% tip, but I didn’t want to… but I had a Christian moment during this Christmas season!!! Bah Humbug!!!

Staff is Fantastic(both bartenders have plack on the wall for drinking all 124 signature shots). Had a Ruben Sandwich. It was so so, fries were good, small kind and crispy. Tvs were nice, had several different games on!

Go here if you are looking for hook ups and college boys… food is mediocre at best and the drinks are weak and boring. Only thing saving them from a 1 star is the shot menu. But heaven forbid you combine multiple shots on one tab for the«loyalty card» or else your server or bartender will argue and raise hell. Geeze. Cheap much? Dont have a shot«loyalty card» if youre gonna be stingy about it. Yikes.

Thanks Sammie and Tina! Great Veggie Hater Pizza, beer, and company. The prices were good, service better, and the food was excellent. We came here before a ball game and were thoroughly impressed. We’ll make it a staple before and after Cardinal games since its a short walk.

It was a fun bar. Decently priced, nice inside. The only reason it is not a 5 is if you order a shot, you have to get 2 of the same. Not sure I agree with that to much, but it was just something that was annoying.

Home of over 100 shots… literally! The wall of shots is an awesome way to get customers in the door. You must try the pretzel bite things; those are to DIE for! The waitress was a little slow, but I think she has the entire place to herself.

Shots, shots, shots, shots! Joey B’s is home to the most epic shot board that I’ve ever seen! Seriously, check out some of the pics that have been uploaded. The atmosphere here is really great, lighthearted and truly makes you want to have a good time. The staff is welcoming and know how to show their customers a fun time. I didn’t have a full meal here but did get to try the pretzel bites which were surprising pretty good!

An excellent at atmosphere filled with great music, laughs and the most amazing pizza aroma on the landing. With a shot board challenge(124) where you have to buy two of each its a great way to bond with a stranger or long life bud . Mondays ate great karaōke… featuring the bes Michael Jackson this side of the grave.

Came for lunch. A bit expensive for lunch, but it is the landing. I had a chicken sandwich, was good. Shoe string fries weren’t that tasty. I had a side salad with house dressing. Liked the house dressing but ask for it on the side, it was totally drenched in dressing. Did get crab Rangoon(odd menu item) but they were delicious. Typical bar atmosphere. Worse part is the parking is $ 6.

Didn’t eat… Just drinks. Pretty standard aside from the elaborate shot menus. I highly recommend numbers 1&71. 50 and 121 are racially insensitive. Good service overall.

Came here at 8pm on a Thursday for my bachelorette party with my 5 bridesmaids. We were already tipsy at this point, none of us incredibly hungry but knew the smartest thing to do was eat. Between the 5 of us we ordered 3 appetizers to share and in out state it was the perfect amount. The waitress was very nice and seemed refreshed by our lively group and definitely helped us to keep our energy up through the pit stop. We also had a blow up doll with us that we thought had to be with us throughout the night and the server was accommodating to that and let us have our«last single night out:» fun. The food(an order of bosco sticks, chicken strips, and potato skins) was good and perfect portion for the 5 of us. The drinks were on the strong side, one of my girls ordered«bacardi and rum»(yes after it came out of her mouth she realized what she had said) sh says it had to have some coke in it do it the color but she could not taste it. The other girls that actually ordered a «rum and coke» said theirs were strong but not as strong as the other. If I am ever back in the city looking for food I would go back

Wing Wednesday w/½ priced orders… I just had the hot wings with crumbled bleu cheese & green onion. I ordered the regular wings, but a friend ordered those. I was jealous & complained so he gave me 1. It made me more jealous! This will be my Wednesday order from now on.

If you’re like me, you think that even the idea of shot bars is gross. Any places that so blatantly encourages binge drinking on sugary sweet flavored liquors gets a thumbs down from me. But When In Rome and all that jazz, so I downed some shots, surpressed my urge to vomit them back up, and made the best of it. Some details: — Every single surface in this place is sticky. — The crowd was pretty tragic, and every interaction we had with others was a trainwreck — The bathrooms made me sad. — Hey, the nachos were alright! — Some pretty great music, and they play a lot of music videos. That’s where star #2 comes from. I wouldn’t recommend, and I wouldn’t go back.

Our server was very pleasant. She interacted with us, a bachelor party of 10 guys who were hungry and ready to drink. Their wall of shots was impressive. Only the bachelor did shots, the rest of us paced ourselves. The beer selection was mediocre. Thankfully Schlafly’s had some taps in there or I would have been sad. Beer prices for the pints were fair and reasonable. Now to the pizza. I have had better pizza in the frozen food section at a grocery store. UGH. I ordered a 10 inch thin crust pizza with 4 toppings(bacon, green peppers, white onion, and red onion.) The price for this 10 inch pizza was ludacris. $ 9.95 for a 10 inch, not too bad. $ 2.50 per topping meaning my 10 inch pizza had $ 10 in toppings, making it a $ 20 pizza. FAIL. The pizza LOOKED good. I took a bite and nearly gagged. The cheese tasted rancid and the crust was burnt almost everywhere. The sauce had ZERO flavor. The toppings were OK, the bacon its only saving grace. I ended up only eating 2 slices and all the bacon. I would have to say it was once of the worst pizzas I have ever attempted to consume. A 99¢ Totino’s pizza has much better flavor and its 1⁄20 of the price! I even tried putting salt and pepper, along with crushed red pepper on it and it could not save it. I gave the rest to the other guys and nobody touched it. I loved the look and feel of the place, but would not go back unless it was for a beer. Just typing this review I am remembered of the taste of the pizza, *SHUDDERS*

Skip this place. Not that I would recommend any other restaurant on The Landing these days… I had been here years ago when it was cool to hang out on the Landing but I had never eaten here. So I went here with co-workers for lunch recently with high expectations because of the Joey B’s name. The«dining area» is extremely small for a restaurant. We had 5 people in our party and we had to cram into one table. Service was slow throughout our whole time and the waitress seemed uninterested that we were there and seemed bothered that we needed refills, napkins, etc. Our group’s favorite thing to get when we go to Joey B’s on the Hill is Spinach Dip. The Joey B’s on the Landing had nothing on the Hill’s Spinach Dip. The Landing doesn’t offer side items for their sandwiches or burgers except fries or chips. I was charged 60 cents for a cup of ranch to go with my Buffalo Chicken Wrap, which I feel like comes standard with that wrap or at no charge at other establishments. If it wasn’t a lunch on a work day, we definitely would have tried at least a few of their 124 shots off of their shot boards. Unique names and a wide variety. In the end, if you can go to the Joey B’s on the Hill — it’s at least 10 times better!
