i used to be petrified of the dentist and didn’t go for years! when we moved to stl, my husband and I thought it was about time to take care of our oral hygiene. now we come here every six months for our cleaning… ANDWEDON’T DREADIT. it’s a cute family practice, big dr. b & his son. they have eight chairs(off the top of my head) and are very well staffed. they have multiple dental hygienists so chair turn over is pretty quick. out of the many times I’ve been here, I’ve never had a bad experience! I love the personal touches they have on the walls/décor. once I complained that I was chilly, and they gave me a blanket! ACCOMMODATING! the staff is all very knowledgable and I really really appreciate dr. b’s honesty when something isn’t his forte but can quickly recommend a specialist. I ACTUALLYENJOYGOINGTOTHEDENTIST! who wudda thunk it?

I love this guy. Dentists are pretty horrible as a rule, but he makes it as painless and pleasant as possible and his entire staff is awesome, friendly, and funny as well. If there is a mess up(in my case, we had an incident with a root canal gone bad), he was quick to get me in, fix the problem and he actually took accountability for it. And seriously, it was something that could happen to anyone with a seriously abscesed tooth. He is gentle and is a perfectionist which is exactly what you want with your teeth. I have a partial in front that for the first time in my adult life actually matches the rest of my teeth. Not an easy feet for a girl with a serious coffee addiction. The best thing about Dr. Borgmeyer’s office is you really and truly feel like you are going to the dentist in a Norman Rockwell painting. It’s that kitchy and cute. The office is an old house in South City and his son even used to live upstairs in the apartment above while he was in law school. Every patient space is decorated differently too, so it adds for some kind of different experience at least… I mean, you don’t want ot be staring at the same thing when you are having dental work done, here you have options like the cardinals chair, or like the 1980’s classic toys space… trust me, it’s nice when you have something to concentrate on other than the piece of plastic jabbing into your gums.
