And as an update, I just got my car back from them tonight. It was running rough when I brought it in. Apparently, It was just some kind of electrical coil. THey also looked at my heating/defrosting problem and fixed it —for free. Seems that though another local place wanted to charge me $ 2,800 for a new motor, Mel’s replace my coil for $ 200 and it was the root of my heater/defroster problems. If I’d have gone to Mel’s a year ago, I’d not have gone without heat for the last two winters. ugh! And then one of the guys scraped my windshield. GOD I love this place!
