I hesitated to go 2 stars, but the pace is fun for a bar, and a lot of the food is decent. Let’s talk about the cheeseburger though. $ 7.95 for a ¼ lb patty and lays chips is ridiculous. Anywhere else in the city you get a half pound fresh burger made to order. I have had much better burgers at backyard BBQ’s, not exaggerating at all. I’m not sure why they thought they could pass this thing off as a legit cheeseburger for 8 bucks. If it were half the price, I’d have gone 5 stars and chalked it up to a dive bar. But don’t charge me the same price as a place down the street serving a burger that’s twice a big with a wide array of options and home-made choices. It’s insulting. Long story short: for drinks, it’s 4 – 5 stars. For food, not so much…

The food is just terrible. I ordered the burger cooked medium. It came out dry, over well done, and very salty. Completely inedible. It came with a side of stale chips that were definitely not billy goat chips. Every thing was really really gross. EDIT: * I mentioned Billy Goat chips because another earlier reviewer mentioned you served them*

This place is great! I had the pretzel grilled cheese sliders and they were excellent! My brickyard mule was delicious and my fiancée loved his bloody mary! The bartenders are very friendly. I highly recommend it and I will definately be back!

Awesome local beer list and great cocktail menu. Finally a bar on South Grand that you can catch a game at because they have all the sports packages. Their burgers are great and they have nice cocktail menu. The brickyard mule is solid! FYI. Darts, Golden Tee and Touch Tunes.

Highly disappointed. Cheap wine was way overpriced. Beer selection was decent. French onion soup was, according to my friend, dishwater-like and tasteless. Place didn’t seem very«neighborly»

Love the fact that I can sit down and enjoy drinking whether it’s with a group of friends or a cocktail after work. Pros: Prices, courteous staff, great patrons and I feel safe knowing that the patrolling officers stop by to say hi or to get a refill of water or coffee. Cons: Parking can be difficult depending on the day.

Super disappointed. All we are asking for Is to have a decent pub on grand! Bartender pretty much ignored us while sitting at the bar with all of 6 customers in the bar in total. Watched her pour my «Brickyard mule» and totally made the drink with as little booze as possible. She seemed overwhelmed with the amount of customers. First impression — not good.

Great place to go if your looking for a laid back atmosphere. The menu had 4 options you can get in a sandwich, wrap, flatbread, or salad which is a fun idea. But I Loved all the different cinder options!

Very disappointed, everything tasted like it was leftover from the day before. I had the chicken sliders and mac & cheese. Chicken was dry, waffles were tough and chewy, mac and cheese was bland and tasteless. Nothing was even warm when served.

A sports bar on South Grand is a neat idea, but it’s execution is flawed. The food is mediocre, and it’s beer prices, for craft beer, are high. The service was good, and they’ll put on whatever game you want to watch, but you’re better off just going to Friendly’s.

Was hoping this would be another family friendly, neighborhood spot, but its strictly 21 and over. Not sure why, since it has the sports bar and grill type feel. Just have to stick to City Park Grill and Blackthorn

It’s pretty good. Sports bar, drinks, tv. I wouldn’t come here for Valentine’s Day… but Valentine’s Day fucking sucks anyway. I mean, come on. 60 dollars for 12 dollar roses?! 87 dollar 5 course meal of wedding food?! No thanks. ANDANOTHERTHING… what’s the deal with taco salad?! No one has that anymore. Not that I like taco salad… I definitely don’t. Hot salad? Who needs that. I’m just sayin… maybe other people liked it

Nice bar. Small but definitely not a dive. Flat screens, decent food for a bar and good drinks.

Food was very disappointing, boring, pretty bad bar food. We had the Buffalo balls appetizer, which was the best thing we ate, basically meatballs in a sauce, not bad but not great, spinach dip had way too much cheese, and a turkey apple brie wrap that comes with a bag of chips — at least serve local Billy Goat chips — and the turkey was nothing more than a few wimpy slices of Oscar Mayer, with the wrap being the main ingredient. Two stars because the bartender was super peppy and attentive(understandable since it was us and two other tables) and the gin cucumber cocktail I had was delicious. Wine selections minimal. We wanted to like this place because it’s walkable from our home…
