This is a gallery we usually visit when we are in the area. I have yet to buy anything from them, but they do represent a variety of artists. The styles and prices vary quite a bit. On this particular visit, the staff member was not at her best. They usually just leave you to yourself unless you are getting to close to something they would prefer you not to touch. Today however, she actually talked about my son to another customer within our hearing. My son had tried to put a chair under the desk that it went with and she snapped at him that it didn’t go under the desk. There was no sign stating this, so he was only doing what he thought was the right thing to do. Her reaction to the situation was not professional.

I like the eclectic feel of the place. I like that it’s a hodgepodge of art. You never know what you’re going to find. I come here every few months to see what’s on hand. They’ve been a mainstay on the Loop for years and represent 150 regional artists. They’ve got pottery, glass, paintings, drawings, metal work and photography, among other mediums. I love that they’re promoting local artists.

This is a strange art gallery that features mainly glasswork and paintings, but that has a little of everything. The only reason I saw that it is weird is that it features so many styles. Many galleries do not, or else separate the various styles typically. There are two floors to browse through, and the people running this are fine to leave you be as you look around. The work here ranges from exquisite to not so great. The prices range from low to high, it just depends what you have your eye one.
