I CANNOT say enough great things about Designed Images. I’ve been looking for a new haircut and have been too lazy to research where to get my hair cut. Luckily, Unilocal to the rescue. I looked up several places and realized that the prices at Designed Images could not be beat so I decided to check this place out. I am SO glad I did. My only regret is that I did not try this place sooner.
I called yesterday and they were able to fit me in the same day, which is fabulous. Amanda was my hair stylist. She was so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. She answered all of my questions and worked with me to get me a GREAT haircut. Maybe even the best haircut ever. She’s a perfectionist, which I super appreciate. The appointment itself included a wash, cut, style, and blow dry for 20 DOLLARS! I believe their prices range from 20 – 35 for a cut and style (even at the high end, that’s pretty good). Where can you go and get that kind of treatment for so cheap??? I think the only place you can go for that kind of money is Great Clips, which will not include a great new hairdo. So the short answer is… no other place.
A few side notes, they donate their hair through Pantene’s program (and not Locks of Love which has run into trouble lately). You also get $ 5 off you next hair cut if you refer a friend. Finally, the place is right off of Hampton on Southwest, so it can be easy to miss. I found the place itself warm and clean.
In sum, I have definitely found my St. Louis salon, especially since it is only 4 minutes from my house. I would highly recommend Designed Images to anyone and everyone.

i have been going to Andrea since 2008 and have never looked back. My hair is fine and thick and I change the style often depending on the tours we have in the future. Andrea rises to the task every time for cut AND color. Since I experience many different climates, she sometimes has to adjust the color and has always taken care of any fading or color change that neither of us anticipated. Additionally, she knows how to cut my hair to make it lay right even when I spent zero time styling it. There is a lot to be said for that as my last 3 stylists could only get it right about every third time. Antoinette, the owner, is always accommodating as she knows my schedule gets crazy and will work to get me into a chair if Andrea is unavailable. I appreciate that very much. The value for the price is excellent plus I can walk over from my house!

I tried Designed Images about a year or so ago. I’ve had a difficult time finding a salon I like that is reasonably priced. This place is fantastic! Amanda does a great job and offers very good and honest advice when trying anything new. You don’t need to schedule weeks in advance and everyone is friendly. I highly recommend it. Plus my hair always looks good when I leave!

I had a wonderful experience at Designed Images and have definately found my new salon! Antoinette was great… she fit me in, gave me amazing color and a really nice cut. She was super friendly and made sure I was comfortable and happy with the new look! The prices are great and the whole staff seems nice. I will be going back!

I have been going to Designed Images for years now! I have always left with a smile on my face and have received many compliments after making a visit there. They have very affordable prices, easy to get in for an appointment, and a very inviting atmosphere with the bright walls and cheerful staff!
It is my «go to» salon when I am in St. Louis!

I really like going to Designed Images. I go to Andrea Rybialek and she is an exceptional stylist. Designed Images is a very friendly shop and I don’t have to wait weeks to get an appointment. The prices are so reasonable too. Check out their product specials. I stocked up on Chi shine spray when they had a sale. All the hot girls go here.

I’ve been trusting Katie Bell with my hair/​nails/​facial waxing for years! She’s the first stylist I’ve ever kept, and has been with me through so many different looks I can’t even count them.
She always executes whatever we’re doing to my hair flawlessly. Most of all, her services are a great value, consistently coming in at a fraction of what the same services would cost at the trendy salons. The quality of her work is also always above that of those salons.
Recently, Katie acquired a new three-​week manicure system that I’ve been taking for a test run. Sure enough, I’m 13 days in with nary a chip, even bartending five nights a week! Amazing.
The actual shop is always clean and friendly, and very welcoming towards mothers with children. The wall colors are bright and happy, and the whole salon is comfortable overall. Appointments are easy to obtain, and enjoyable to sit through. Look no further for your new salon.
