This cool little wine shop may be off the beaten path but its worth seeking out. Its in a charming little strip center at Big Bend & Dougherty Ferry that happens to have a few pretty good restaurants.(The Tavern & The Shack) Roger, the owner is very knowledgeable, helpful and down to earth. If you are looking for a special bottle of wine to impress your oenophile friend or just something for some regular weeknight sipping he can hook you up. I found and bought a bottle of a Napa Valley Sean Minor Red Blend and The Prisoner a Cabernet Sauvignon from the Huneeus family both of which I am excited to try. Most of Devines bottles are reasonably priced so you don’t have to spend a fortune to get a great bottle of wine. Also, If you are looking for something specific Roger could likely order it for you. Devines also sells little wine related accouterments like wine stain remover(which I should have bought but didn’t), decorative wine bottle holders and glasses. Swing by, pick up a few bottles and support a local business. Cheers!

I love coming to this wine shop to discover something new and exciting in the wine world. There is always a story(history lesson) behind each wine they sell and the service is always friendly, even when busy. We probably go to their 5−8pm Friday or Saturday night wine tastings at least once, usually twice a month. I am on their contact list and get an email each week of what they will be tasting that weekend and if it lines up with my tastes, we will pop in for 10 – 15 min for a tasting. If we like we buy one(or three), if not we buy one of our usuals. You can discover wines from $ 15-$ 100+

This place is a true gem. Outstanding prices, amazing selection, and service that simply cannot be beat. The owners/operators are friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. I make it a point to stop in once a week to try something new and support this local small business. You don’t have to spend a fortune here, for a little more than a stop at Starbucks, you can try an outstanding new wine. Their beer selection looks amazing as well. If I ever get past the wine, I’ll try a few of those too. While I understand there are laws and permits required, if they only had a few tables, served some bread and cheese, and allowed you to drink what you bought here… I’m not sure I’d ever leave.

Looks very small but goes quite deep! Nice variety of wine, beer, and liquor of many kinds and higher quality then the norm. We have a friend that drinks tequila like some people like fine wine so I knew I had my job set out for me as I had NO where idea to go… which turned out was practically right across the street naturally. Laughingly I went to 2 different places before coming here. the closest one. heh.(I had one person at a shop in Kirkwood advise me to get good tequila from Schnucks… o. O I laughed, as I thought they were joking but they weren’t. :(WHOOPSIE) TLDR: If you are looking for higher quality booze or an odd/different beer/wine brand. This is it. A very knowledgeable person working there that enjoys his job. Same shopping mall as «The Corner Bar.»

Great little wine and beer shop. Not much of a wine drinker, but the selection is good there. Great selection of craft beers. Love to go here when I don’t feel like driving out to Friar Tucks. Always has the new beer to the area and at very reasonable prices. Also has some beers I haven’t seen in other stores. Owner is always nice and very very knowledgeable about what he carries in store. Great for wine and beer lovers.

This is my favorite wine shop. The owner, Cory, is extremely knowledgeable and stocks many ~90 point wines that are under $ 20. He has an ever growing liquor and craft beer selection as well. If you are in the area, this is a place you definitely need to visit!

One of the most personal wine stores I have been into in St. Louis. This is a young mom and pop wine shop in the west county /valley park area. The owners were extremely friendly and went out of their way to share a lot of wine knowledge. They have a great selection for a smaller store, and I noticed a lot of wines i haven’t seen at other places. A lot of different beers to choose from as well. If you live in the area definitely stop in to check out this little gem. The young couple who own this place are great people and will definitely earn your business.
