Erker’s Fine Eyewear

I went into Erker’s to use a Groupon for a free eye exam and $ 200 credit towards frames. The doctor and assistant were very nice, however I felt rushed in choosing frames. They quickly moved through the bill and I almost missed that they charge $ 380 for lenses. I bought the exact same pair of lenses for $ 100 less than two years prior. Although the service was nice, the price is not justified since their lenses and frames are almost exactly what you can get at more affordable shops.

I found a groupon for this place awhile back and finally used it before it expired. When I walked in, a sales clerk greeted me and got me started filling out my paperwork while she told the doctor I had arrived for my appointment. While he was finishing up the appointment before mine (I had arrived a little early), she started helping me pick out glasses. I was very specific in that I didn’t want frames over a certain price and wanted them to fit my narrow face. Before we had time to look at more than one pair, the doctor was ready to start my appointment right on the dot. He was friendly and efficient. After I got temporary contacts, the sales girl helped me find the perfect frames for my style and price range quickly and I was finished with the entire process in less than a half hour. I was very pleased. I will amend this review when my glasses are ready for pick up, but up to this point, the service and selection was great.

The people who work here are amazing. The woman who helped me was like a personal shopper for glasses, and she was dead-​on about what looked good and what didn’t and why. The glasses are MEGA EXPENSIVE — the most expensive glasses I have ever owned, probably by twice as much — but absolutely worth it to me this time.
