Great service! Got my annual eye exam here for the first time. Staff is very efficient and helpful. I wish I had gone here sooner.

Good solid service here. In and out in no time both times I’ve been over the last few years. The doctor is very kind and makes sure she answers all of your questions without feeling rushed.
I did knock a star off because their glasses prices are astronomical. Though that seems to be the case with any eye doctors, they make most of their money from having the ‘all in one convenience’ in the same office. If you’re paying out of pocket, I’d suggest getting a script and just ordering online. The prices are roughly ¹⁄₅ including the lenses.

Daniael is ok for returning calls. now, i just checked in here. i was just physically their for my appointment. The girl in the front told me my prescription was exactly as it was on my glasses. She tells me their is nothing for them to do. I leave. She doesnt say anything about me staying for the appointment i had. All of a sudden at 6:11 pm, the guy in back calls me and asks for an appointment reschedule. WTF. I was here, and you dont even know i am here. They do not talk to each other and they give out information with out talking to their own supervisors. I dont know about you but this is not a legit place in my world. Im a little upset now. My glasses and vision is fine. The guy in back calls me from the phone line and i keep telling him that they must not think im a real human being. I leave and now i am home.

I had a great experience at Clarkson downtown. The staff was super prompt, friendly, and did a lot of digging for me re: my insurance coverage to get me the best deal. I saw Dr. Schwamb, who set me up with both glasses and contacts and really listened to my feedback about my contact lens woes. I will come back for my next eye exam!

I always wait WAY too long to go back to the eye doc but things were getting a little too blurry for comfort so I made an appointment with Clarkson. A few years back I had gone to a different location and had a fantastic experience. Either this location is just sub par or I am remembering a rosier version of my last appointment because this visit was just «ok» on every level. I only had to wait five minutes (yay) but then at every step of the appointment thereafter they kept trying to sell me procedures that they said were important but would be a little extra because insurance is «behind the times.» I don’t know anything about what procedures to get so this left an uncomfortable taste in my mouth because I felt like I was at a shady car lot not my eye doc. The eye exam itself was again fine but the eye doctor was the least personable doc I have ever been around. I think he maybe actually looked at me once. I ended up with a great pair of glasses in the end but left feeling slightly uncomfortable like maybe i had been taken advantage of with my $.
