Don’t try it. I was told delivery was going to be 45 minutes. Turned out to be 1 hour 40 minutes, when the food got here it was cold and the crab rangoon tasted like was sitting around for half of the day. I will never order from this place again.

Talk about hole in the wall. Slighty scary street too. Got my usual hot braised chicken, didnt care for thin sauce, crab rangoons were decent, lightly crispy. Disliked the rice. The meat in it tasted off & so did the chicken in the lo mein. Wished it was a better cleaner place

I agree with Stephen… Totally… 1. They are a dollar cheaper than any other place I go. 2. They are the closest. 3. They actually have duck, as previously states by Steve. 4. Their hot braised chicken is a *WARMWELCOME* to something different besides the same ol’ thick-sauced General Tso’s I so adore. 5. I actually finished BOTHPIECES of crab rangoon. Why? Because it was actually totally good! I could see the crab through the wonton. Yum! I will be going back again and again! Especially after a trip to Randall’s to pick up an attractively priced 6-pack of AIPA by Schlafly… J PS… Only take tha paper!

I’m disappointed in the sole review for this site prior to mine: 1 star based on almost no reason whatsoever. I live in Lafayette Square so I’ve driven past this place many a time and finally was able to stop in tonight. I’m half-Asian, and grew up in Asia, so I feel like I’m always explaining why traditional/authentic Chinese food/places is/are good to people who really don’t know what the hell they are talking about. Please note, this place is CASHONLY. 1. Prices are reasonable, and the menu is mostly«half» or «whole» portions. They have a decent array of choices, ranging from varieties of chop suey(of course) to hot braised pork and chicken. 2. They also have duck as a side dish, a sure sign of authenticity. Note: you will not find duck at some place like Panda Express, which is as «Chinese» as Taco Bell is «Mexican.» 3. It was a weekday night, but fast service is still fast service. 15 minutes, from order to pickup. Real authentic Chinese take-out, being made by Chinese people. One star? Chinaman, please!

I hate to say«this place is horrible» based on one trip, but… The sauce was ketchup, it was gross. Park Chop Suey isn’t too far away and is much better(not great, afterall it’s fast food chinese, but it’s better)
