Had a really cool at Killer Vintage today. I walked in looking for a Strat and the salesman patiently and helpfully showed me all their Fenders as well as Nash guitars. Had a chance to play through a phenomenal tube amplifier and several pedals. Friendly and knowledgable staff. I will be back soon. Thanks KV!

Not only do they have an unbelievable selection of rare and vintage guitars, but their staff consists of some of the nicest guys around. Whether you can afford the $ 50,000 stratocaster, or just there BS-ing about your favorite guitar lick, they treat you with respect and seem to genuinely have a good time talking with customers. They’ve set up 3 of my guitars and re-tubed one amp. The quality of work is top-notch, and the prices are incredibly reasonable. If you’re a musician, collector, or just have an appreciation for old time guitar shops, this is a must see in St. Louis. It’s like the pawn shop in vegas where you never know what is going to walk through the door. They have some of the craziest instruments brought in by people looking to sell. Things that most people will never see… unless you hang out for a couple days at Killer Vintage. Oh yeah– Keep an eye out for famous celebrities. Gibbons, Beck, Steve Miller, Bonamassa have all been in there over the last year. Keith Urban bought the guitar I was eyeing for a couple months.

I have been to shops all over and this is one of the best you will find. As the name indicates, they specialize in vintage gear(guitars and amps mostly), but they do have some of the top current boutique manufacturers as well. The knowledge and service are as good as it gets. For anyone who loves guitar, this place is a small piece of paradise.
