The pizza was good but I can’t say it was one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. It’s not St. Louis style, which is my favorite type. of pizza. The crust was very good and the pizza was nice and buttery. The service was very good as well. This is a cash or check only business.

Possibly the best pizza in Saint Louis. Great atmosphere, great friendly staff. Been coming for years and never disappoints. They don’t have a liquor license but you can BYOB.

If you are old enough to have walked into a Pizza restaurant in the 60’s, this place will put you right back to that time. When i walked in, the gentlemen in the kitchen were busy doing everything from SCRATCH, even shredding their own pizza cheese themselves! FANTASTIC Saint Louis style pizza, the place is nice, clean, and everything you could want from a local Mom and Pop Pizza place! Worth the effort to come try these guys!

One of the best pizza places in the city. Nothing crazy or outrageous, just classic pizza. I’ve had a great pizza every time I’ve ordered from here. Highly recommended.

Third time here in 5 years. Do not recommend. Greasy no flavor pizza. Apparently you may bring in alcohol even though they do not have a liquor license, but no other drinks. Checking with the City on this. If you want to support local, try Onesto’s on Macklind. Better better pizza and friendly.

Pizza was grease but good all and all. Small little place but has a homey feeling for sure.

Not the best, not the worst. The good: quick as hell, good cheese and crust. The bad: our pizza had onions and green peppers on it — the tasted like they had been pre-Cooked a few days prior(color to match). The building was a great old school pizza parlor. If the toppings could be fresh cut, we would be back. I would rather wait an extra 10 mins for fresh toppings.

This is my go-to pizza place. Every time I order pizza here, it is de-loy-cious. The place is pretty simple(just some tables and fountain soda), but don’t let that fool you. This is high-quality pizza and not that crappy stuff you get at most places in St. Louis. Tonight, I ordered the veggie pizza(mushrooms, onions, peppers, and olives) and the meat special pizza(canadian bacon, bacon, sausage, and pepperoni). Both pizzas were absolutely fantastic. Super good crust(not too thin or too thick) and really good cheese. They were made really quickly; I called in the pizzas at 4PM and they were hot-and-ready by 4:20PM. A few things: 1. They have two sizes for pizzas: small(12 inches) and large(15 inches). The small is more than enough for 2 people. 2. They only take check or cash. 3. You can either eat there or carry-out. 4. They don’t open until 4(and they close at 9 or 10 depending on the day). Definitely a place you should check-out if you’re dying for pizza.

Excellent pizza! The place is a small but cute. My husband and I are away for our anniversary and wanted to try some St. Louis pizza. This is definitely the place to go! The staff was very friendly.

Wow, I found a new pizza place. I ordered from Pizza-A go-go tonight and was pleasantly surpirsed. I got a small 3 topping and it was 12 inches and covered from edge to edge with toppings and gooey cheese. The crust was thin and cooked to perfection with the perfect bite. For the $ 10.80 it was enough for 2 people and I love the small thin slices. I will be back for sure and passing around the menu at work. We will ahve a group order soon.

Excellent pizza. Very smooth process ordering by phone, although they don’t appear to have their own website for online ordering. Only cash or check accepted, but I knew that upfront and they reminded me when I ordered. Very tasty. The crust is done just right, not too crispy and not too doughy. The cheese blend is excellent. The vegetable toppings tasted as if they came from a can, but overall the pizza was good.

Pizza-a-GoGo is our go to pizza place. It is small with limited parking and seating so you have to either hit it when the time is right, order for pickup or be prepared to wait for a table. It is worth the wait. This is a traditional New York style pie, thin crust with mozzarella — yum! This place is great for kids let them watch the dough being thrown while they wait for their pie!

Great pizza. Traditional, but unique enough that it’s definitely worth a few visits. Crust is very good, kind of a hybrid between thick and thin crust. We talked to the owner for a bit and he’s really nice. I can definitely see myself coming here again.

The hubs and I were at the end of a staycation. We were in the mood for pizza, and we decided to give Pizza-A-Go-Go a go-go. His parents had mentioned it to us several times and had described it as a great no-frills pizza place that offers only pizza, soda, and tea. We arrived at the restaurant for a late lunch at about 2:30 on a Monday, and. .. they were closed. D’oh! I whipped out my phone to check their hours and discovered they are open from 4:00 to 9:00 on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday and from 4:00 to 10:00 on Friday and Saturday. They are closed on Wednesdays. They stop taking dine-in and take-out orders 30 minutes before closing. So, if you want to get-get your Pizza-A-Go-Go, you have a 4.5– or 5.5-hour window each day, excluding Wednesdays, to do so. So, we ended up heading back on a Tuesday for dinner. We arrived at about 7:45, forty-five minutes before the order cut-off time of 8:30. If you are dining in like we were, you seat yourself and wait for a waitress to take your order. Like others have said, the dining room is on the small side. However, it wasn’t very busy on the night we were there. One of the employees was talking to several of the customers who seemed to be regulars, and he said to one of them that it seemed to be a slow night. They have a very simple menu. A small(12″) thin-crust pizza is $ 7.00, and a large(15″) pizza is $ 12.50. Toppings are offered at an additional cost of $ 1.00 each for the small and $ 1.50 each for the large. If you want thick crust, that’s an extra buck for the small and an extra $ 1.50 for the large. They also have three featured pizzas(special, meat special and veggie special) that are $ 11 each for the small and $ 18 each for the large. Pick a pizza. Pick soda, tea, or water. That’s it. That’s the menu. We ordered a large thin-crust sausage and pepperoni. As usual, we thought we were hungrier than we actually were. You think you have a good idea of what a 15-inch diameter looks like. Then this massive pizza arrives at your table and you’re like, «Oh, no. What have we done?» The pizza was quite good. It was very greasy. Sausage + pepperoni + cheese = no surprise there. I don’t like spicy pizza(e.g., red pepper flakes), but I could have handled the pizza being a little zestier. I also would have liked more sauce, but I’m a sauce-lover. I’d dip my pizza in sauce, if I could. :) The crust was delicious. It was thin, but not STL-style thin. Even the edge of the crust was good. I was getting full, but I ate every bit of my last slice. As I mentioned earlier, several of the customers appeared to be regulars and fans of the pizza. One person said they wished they could make the pizza at home, but their crust would never turn out so tasty. :) One thing that kind of bummed me out was that I couldn’t get my own soda refills. They have a soda fountain in the dining room, but an «employees-only» sign is attached to it. To be honest, I was not even sure if they had free refills. However, the waitress came by once to refill my drink. I don’t think I was charged for the refill, but we didn’t get a receipt. When you are finished with your meal, you just walk up to the register to pay. I hope you are decent at math because you will need to be able to add up your costs and then calculate the tip. You might want to do that before you enter your post-pizza carb coma. All things considered, I enjoyed the pizza and would definitely go back. Parking is limited, so it looks like we lucked out by going on a night that wasn’t very busy. :)
