I was a patient here for residential and outpatient services a number of years ago. This is a great treatment facility. Recommend from past experience. I am giving 4 stars because communication is difficult and sometimes impossible for the treatment providers and staff here surrounding issues of treatment, insurance, coordination of care and other matters.

I am only reviewing outpatient office visits. McCallum’s office is in a nice, calming spot in Webster Groves. Right in between a couple of restaurants. Which I find kinda ironic. The receptionists are nice enough. The waiting room isn’t super cramped, which I appreciate. The nurse that does your vitals is really pleasant. There’s a dietitian here that is ok. I stopped seeing her after a couple times because I just didn’t love her. She was ok, but not to the point where I’d keep going. They have an inpatient residential program, and several different outpatient programs to choose from. And then there’s the awe-inspiring, all-powerful Dr. McCallum herself. She’s very straightforward, rational. She doesn’t take any bs, and she can see right through your every excuse and lie. Dang, how does she do that? I’ve been seeing her off and on for 13 years, and I swear if she ever retires, I’m going to cry. There’s no other doctor for this issue that I could imagine seeing. She has cut back her office hours though, and her rates are very high, which does cause dilemmas. And I don’t know that she takes new patients anymore, but if you’re lucky enough to have her, count your blessings.
