Save a Lot is a local discount grocery chain. It’s a bit like Aldi in that it’s small, convenient, über cheap, and I probably wouldn’t go here for meat or produce. They have a good variety of packaged food and frozen food. Aldi is better organized, but you can find things at Save A LOT that will surprise you (Bosnian and Mexican import foods, cereal, cheap medicine, canned goods, baking supplies, seasonings, dairy, etc.) and they have good name brand special buys.
It’s a no frills, bag your own shopping experience, but you will always get in and out fast and you will save money.

You will all soon notice I shop a lot. Yes, I do have a coupon obsession. I also shop for a friend who is house bound. This is the only reason I go to this store. Me no like!
Don’t want to be too negative about this place. It is not a choice I would make to buy my groceries, but others would. Too bad they don’t have a bigger fresh fruit/​veggie area.
