AMAZINGLY food!!! Had the cashew pizza and it was so good! Best pizza I ever had! Love that it is all organic as well!

The food is decent but not fabulous. The first time we ordered to go and still waited 20 min for 2 salads. The café was empty at the time so it wasn’t like we ordered during a busy time… Lulu’s blows Seedz away! I just wish it was closer.

This place is healthy eating at its finest… sometimes it can get sketchy… you know what I mean. Anyway, I had the raw pad Thai-and it was AWESOME! I’ve had the zucchini noodles at other places, and to sum it up-yuck. Seedz has the noodle magic down pat! It was so good! And quite a large portion! My dining companion had the tempeh burger-which I tried-very good as well-just a little messy(hint: get extra napkins) They make everything fresh, so make sure to give yourself enough to time to enjoy your healthy food! Only downside, the kitchen can be seen from dining area, no big deal, but be prepared to smell like the fabulous food everyone is enjoying around you.
My second visit I got the incredible shake — it was nothing short of its name. Amazing! And I got the raw pad Thai to go. It was a bit hectic, so they forgot my dessert, but I called and they told me to just tell them they forgot it last visit and they would give me my forgotten dessert. Looking forward to trying it. Love this place! So I went back for another Incredible smoothie-Yes, it’s that«incredible» — borderline magnificent! And Cara made sure to give me the brownie bite from last time-it was so worth the wait! Be back soon. Love this place, one of my new favs in STL. Healthy eating at its best.

Yummy vegan dinner! Lovely selection, and bonus they have raw foods too. Cute ambience, diverse staff, great service. My only complaint is the serving size seemed small for a dinner!

I stopped in for a late lunch today. The veggie burger with the side salad was delicious! Everything was fresh and flavorful. I’m looking forward to coming back and trying the rawfreddo and black bean burger. I hope they bring back the baja salad too! I could use that in my life. Super cute café in a super cute neighborhood. Gosh, my only complaint was the super snotty girl who took my order. The people who fixed my food were polite and friendly, but the whitish hair girl with the gold nose clip was NOT. I felt like I was inconveniencing her by asking simple questions in the whole 25 seconds it took me to order. No hello. No smile. No thank you. She was rude and short with anyone who called in on the phone– just unfriendly. Since customer service makes the world go around, especially in the«many of options» restaurant business– apologetically, 3 stars.

When you’re vegan, it can be a struggle to dine out with others. It’s possible, but not easy. You have to check the menu ahead of time, ask for the allergy book, deal with nasty waiters, etc… Seedz is 100% vegan, and their food is delicious. Their vegan Margherita Pizza puts my pizza to shame. Their Mediterranean wrap had way too much hummus on it, but otherwise, their food was great. Not only was the food tasty, but the service was excellent. The reggae music is a bit loud, but it’s a fun environment where you can just chill and eat with your friends. They have a little tree outside where you can write inspirational quotes on little slips of paper, and they’ll tie them to the tree during the winter. It’s adorable. Priced like a normal restaurant.
I must warn you that if you are expecting something big or even normal sized when you get a dessert, you thought wrong. Their desserts are extremely small, about an inch long. Of course, it’s a healthy organic restaurant, so you can’t expect them to give you an entire cake, but i was a little disappointed when my $ 2.50 brownie was the size of a cake pop. Overall, I’m pretty pleased with my experience.

Homey, inviting vegan spot with an eclectic menu that even carnivores would enjoy. Hefty portions and friendly service. Great for those with restricted diets but be wary of nut allergies as many of the sauces and dressings are made with nuts. If you are very allergic to nuts, it is best to shy away from the food as there is potential for contamination. Food: — Raw Pad Thai — Made with zoodles(zucchini noodles) in a rich garlic peanut sauce. Slurped up most of the hefty portion and was very satisfied. It was served cold but I took some home in a to-go box and heated it up. It was even better warm! — Rawfreddo — Really enjoyed this creamy dish. Another one that was made with zoodles. — Mac n’ Cheese(gf) — The cheese is really ‘cheez’ made out of nut cheese. Creamy texture and al dente noodles but lacked a little flavor. Better with more garlic and pepper. — Peace Bowl — Didn’t enjoy this very much. Steamed veggies over brown rice reminiscent of boil in a bag veggies. — Tempeh Reuben — Really enjoyed. Flavorful. — BBQ Pizza Special — The table next to us RAVED over this one. All in all it was a very enjoyable meal and I look forward to trying more menu items from Seedz Café.

Updating. Been to Seedz many times now, when I am in the area. Very consistent and exceeds my expectations each visit. Customer service is outstanding! I had the Pecan Encrusted Tempeh. Even though it was the evening menu, the accommodated me. Very nice of them. Most establishments would tell you they can’t serve it. Not Seedz! They love their customers. The Pecan Encrusted Tempeh was served dinner style with mashed cauliflower and broccoli. The tempeh was cut into triangles and lovingly encrusted with just the right amount of ground pecans and seasoning. Atop the tempeh was a warm salsa of spiced cranberries and apple. Simply mouth-watering! Great Fall dish. You can’t beat this place. A must go-to for locals and visitors to St. Louis.

I’ve been waiting eagerly for some time to write a review of Seedz. I love it! I visited a year ago while I was in town for some Labor Day bike races. I made sure to come back to Seedz this year when I returned for more Labor Day bike races. The food is pricey, but you get what you pay for. I thought I was taking a risk the first time I plunked down $ 22 for a veggie burger and a smoothie. I think the best testament to what I thought of the meal is that I made sure to come back the next time I was in town, and I ordered the exact same thing! The veggie burger is a very well-rounded meal with enough healthy fats to make it hearty and satiating. The date smoothie was also very well put-together and smooth. The first time I ate here I won a bike race a few hours later. Again, the next year I ate the same thing and finished a very good 3rd in a race later that day. Coincidence? Hmm… there WAS maca powder in that smoothie. FIVESTARS!

Came here with a friend who eats gluten-free so it was a win/win. Casual Cali vibe, with a variety to choose from. The Hummus & Veggies are a good plate to share. I had the Tempeh Reuben, which was flavorful and filling; the side salad had a really tasty dressing, although the Corn Chips on the side seemed odd without a dip/salsa accompanying them. The smoothies are supposed to be good too. I ordered the Cold-Brewed Iced Tea, which had a note of jasmine(cool and refreshing). Service was good, without being overbearing. I’ll definitely come back!

Seedz café has only gotten better in the last year! They offer 4 different pizzas: seasonal veggie w/pesto, margherita & cheese w/marinara, and crimini kale with bechamel. New and awesome: Baja taco salad DeMun Club Mac n cheese Don’t forget to try the rotating beers on tap or the vegan cheesecake! Did you know you can add hemp protein or green vibrance to juices and smoothies? The ginger turmeric elixir shots will kick all the bad stuff out of you. They also do catering orders for pick up and sell whole cheesecakes with 48 hours notice.

+ Yummy vegetarian/vegan fare + Fresh ingredients + Raw dishes on the menu + Easy street parking For a gal who loves her meat, Seedz really did hit the spot and didn’t make me miss animal products too much(but cheese. but… butter!) at all. For a hefty price of an arm and half a leg, you can get some super tasty fresh bites here. I had the TEMPEHREUBEN for lunch on a Friday afternoon and let me tell you, I was still thinking about this little wrap come dinnertime, and made me actually try to google a recipe for making my own marinated tempeh(which within 30 seconds led me to resign myself to the fact that I am not inclined to venture to a Whole Foods or otherwise to pluck me some tempeh, and *fermented* and *smoked* tempeh at that!). So I will gladly shell out $ 10.95 for this delicious wrap filled with housemade 1000 island dressing and sauerkraut. I also had their soup of the day, which was a «broccoli vegan cheddar cheese» soup. It didn’t really taste much like the cheesy heavy creamy goodness that comes in the form of Panera/STL BreadCo’s broccoli cheese soup, but it did well for what it was. It was very broccoli-y, fresh-tasting, and pretty filling, graciously without the calories. This one did make me miss my cheese. I did not venture into the smoothie/juices because I was already spending almost $ 20 on a completely vegetarian lunch and adding an additional $ 8 or $ 9 drink just seemed irresponsible. Maybe if I am feeling rich one day I will go back to grab something green and juiced.

The food here is SO good, and the fact that it’s good for you? Even better! The employees are about as friendly as they get. The bf and I ordered the raw pad Thai and rawvioli, but raw pad Thai and rawfreddo came out. We pointed this out to the employee who brought out our food, and even though the bf was happy to accept the rawfredo in the rawvioli’s place, the employee insisted that we take an order of rawvioli to go – no charge for the rawfredo. The raw pad Thai was awesome and very filling. I wouldn’t describe it as tasting like pad Thai at all, but the peanut sauce fantastic. I snuck several tastes from the bf’s rawfredo and enjoyed that dish a lot too – the basil flavor was nice and refreshing. My zucchini-hating boyfriend inhaled half the plate before stopping to ask what the noodles were made of and proceeded to clean his plate! The plating for all the dishes was beautiful too. I ate the rawvioli later in the day, and it struck me as very creative. The filling seemed to be walnut-based(for staying power!), and the«pasta» was made thinly of sliced beets? I really liked it, but it wasn’t as filling as the«zoodle» dishes. If the location were more convenient and my wallet permitted, I would try to eat here every day. Five stars. This is a no-brainer.

Beware: it’s gonna hurt your pocketbook but it’ll be a blow softened by the food. Amazing array of vegan options that taste so good it knocked my socks off once I was resuscitated from the bill. Hey, let’s face it nowadays we all love healthier food selections when we decide to dine-out, that being said prepare to pay for what you want. I enjoyed my dishes immensely. The smoothie was also delicious and of course I had to try the peanut butter cup for dessert which was sinful! The customer service was absolutely amazing, from the young lady taking my order(I believe her name was Star) to the gentleman preparing my food(Joe maybe Jason) I’ve gotta do better with names. The décor was super cute, I love color and you can tell whomever designed this little jewel does also. It’s really artsy, vibrant and chic. The wood detail and tables are cool. Outdoor seating is available as well if you want to get a little vitamin D while during the lunch hour.

Holy expletive, Batman!!! This food is amazing!!! And this actually probably was the best iced coffee I have ever had as well. I got the raw pasta primavera on special(at the employee’s recommendation) and I was so glad I did. Just so fresh and so delicious and so flavorful!!! My husband got a delicious juice and my friend got the raw ‘tuna’ wrap made of all carrots. Just fantastic. Makes me want to import it to Richmond. Well done, St Louis!

Driving on our second leg from Colorado Springs to Nashville we finally got to a place where there were some decent restaurant choices. Hooray! Real food! But was it going to be worth the wait? Five stars due to my dining partners and I enjoying every single thing we ordered. We tried the mock tuna wrap, the Reuben wrap, the veggie burger, lemonade with maple syrup, and a raw peanut butter cup. The two who ordered the wraps basically swapped their food but liked them both. The tuna was sweeter than one person liked but it was perfect for the other person. The Reuben got two thumbs up for a total of four thumbs. The veggie burger had a terrific sauce and the fresh avocado really topped it off perfectly. All dishes came with a small salad and some tortilla chips which went well with the wraps and burger. The lemonade with maple syrup was sour but I’m into lemons so it worked for me. And the raw peanut butter cup had a very strong coconut butter flavor and feel so if you’re not into coconut you’ll probably want to pass on it. Between two of us we about licked the container it came in clean. So we have another 4+ hours to drive today and have all decided to order more food to go so we don’t have to find a restaurant this evening in Nashville. Seedz is bookmarked for us and if we’re ever back in the area we will return! Edit #1: traveling partner says I failed to mention that all their sauces and condiments are fresh and home made. The crime! I have been informed and now you have too!

I didn’t recognize a couple of words on the menu, like«chioggia» and«rawvioli.» But, those two words together turned out to be one word: delicious. The rawvioli was made with Chioggia(key-oh-jah) beets stuffed with walnut pesto. These wonderful beets are an heirloom variety from a town in Italy that bears their name. The beets were raw, thinly sliced and shaped into ravioli pockets that held the tasty stuffing. The walnut pesto stuffing was meaty, flavorful and perfectly complemented the beets. The green goddess dressing was tangy and delicious. I ate every last bite. My hubby even enjoyed the sample I shared with him. My hubby ordered the black bean burger but unfortunately they had just sold the last one. His Plan B was pizza. Then, some disturbing news: no meat or mozzarella on the pizza. I could sense my carnivorous, pizza-eating hubby’s dismay at this discovery. Sprouted-something-crust pizza with«cheese» made from,(drumroll, please): cashews!?! What a good sport. He went ahead and ordered that faux pizza. Thankfully, he doesn’t plot revenge on me for bringing him to meatless, cucumber water establishments. Besides, I had already planned a trip to Pappy’s Smokehouse for him since he inspires me to be a good sport, too. His faux pizza was fantastic. Beautiful basil leaves with tomato on every crusty sprouted slice along with a spattering of thinly sliced, perfectly caramelized garlic morsels. And, that cheese? It had the same consistency of melted mozzarella and all the tastes combined were a mouthful of deliciousness. Hubby admitted that he had some concerns about ordering this faux pizza but ultimately it was delicious and he, too, ate every last bite. Overall, Seedz is a great little local restaurant that serves up delicious organic vegetarian meals in the charming STL neighborhood of Demun.

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying some exceptional raw zucchini noodles at a vegan eatery in Salt Lake City, so when I came across the reviews noting a Pad Thai version at Seedz, we had to check it out. Plus, visiting a veggie eatery tends to give you good odds of feeling awesome for the remainder of the day. Seedz is a cozy and refreshing café with indoor and outdoor seating, white walls and airy décor like you find at most other vegetarian eateries. The prices lean on the higher side with smoothies coming in at $ 10, so you might want to consider saving it for dinner and lingering longer to enjoy their made-in-house beer, etc.(make an evening of it!). We had the Pad Thai zucchini which was both delicious and huge(I had leftovers), the veggie burger and the banana, date, maca smoothie. My favorite was the Pad Thai and the sesame seed-loaded bun on the burger. All delicious but don’t be surprised if you spend a good $ 40 on lunch here.
