I’ve only had their breakfast sandwiches(served all day). The wait is a few minutes but food is hot and fresh and always really good, with fluffy eggs and ample meat. The service is friendly and efficient and the place is clean, well lit, and near to the Blues museum, etc.

Good sandwiches with top quality ingredients. They also have ice cream that is a nice treat to enjoy when walking around the DT area.

The food is okay — nothing all that great at all. But the worst part about this restaurant is their service is awful and it’s always incredibly slow. You’re hard pressed to actually get lunch in an hour here with walking, which isn’t worth it when it’s not sit down and the food is bland. Do not recommend.

As a Downtown resident and a big fan of sandwiches, I’d really be lost without Snarf’s. We walk to the riverfront every Sunday and grab sandwiches(okay, and brownies) before we walk back. I usually get the french dip with hot peppers and it’s perfect every time! Louie is super nice and the whole team there is really accommodating. Being in the tourist district of Downtown St. Louis means it could randomly be really busy on any given day, but it’s worth the wait in line every time. On the days we are too tired(read: hungover) to go on our walk, we sometimes get it delivered instead. We also stop by the SLU location fairly often — it’s just as delicious and has a nice little seating area for milkshake enjoyment on a Saturday!

My party and I went to your 614 Washington Ave, St. Louis, MO63101 location, April 2nd, at around 9 p.m. My friend ordered the Prime Rib and Provolone sandwich(all they had was American cheese), and when he received it, it was cold and blood red. He brought it back to the person making the food, who didn’t apologize, but just said he would make another. My wife and I ordered a drink and a hot tea, the hot tea which wasn’t rung up and we never got it anyway. I asked about, and he said he would get it as soon as he had a chance, which he never did. We ordered the Snarf salad, which we shared because we weren’t too hungry, and got sick shortly after eating it. We go to this location twice a day during Comic Con all three days, until last yesterday. The lunch rush was understaffed so we went next door, and I’m not sure if we’ll go back to this location.

LIVID. I cater in lunch frequently at my job. A few months ago I called in an order for boxed lunches that NEVERARRIVED. I was told repeatedly by different people over the phone that the delivery driver was on the way with my order when come to find out– they had LOST my order completely and it was not on it’s way, nor would it ever be. Yesterday was the first day I’ve been brave enough to give them another go. Called in an order for boxed lunches for today. Called when they were late– was told the delivery driver had left 10 minutes ago with my order. «My order, for sure, positively??» «Yes, ma’am. he’s on his way.» Waited 10 more minutes, called again. Gueeeeeeess what!!! Cannot make this up. Lost my order sheet. Have no idea what happened to it. Driver was not out with my order; never was going to be. Unbelievable. What a freaking disaster. I have meetings with schedules. If lunches don’t show up– I’m scrambling. Scrambling!!! Once again, Jimmy Johns to the rescue. I will NEVER order from Snarf’s again and will tell everyone I can that caters frequently here as well(and there are many). What is wrong with this place???

It’s kinda like Potbelly, but better. Big portions, lots of options. Sammiches for your face.

Solid sandwiches, toasty warm and scrumptious toppings. Hot peppers, I’m looking at you! Side portions are smaller than expected and not as tasty. I got the Cole slaw and it was nothing special, somewhat reminiscent of bad cafeteria food. Stick with the sandwiches!

Good selection of sandwiches and chips. My food was made so quick and the employees were all incredibly friendly. Josh made a killer sandwich and was very nice! I’ll be bringing all my convention co workers here for lunch!

For a sandwich place, I’m going to give Snarf’s in downtown STL a perfect beautiful untarnished 5. They deserve it. I came during Urbana, a 16,000 student missions conference that happens every three years in STL at the America’s Center. Obviously there were tons of hungry college students like myself roaming about every meal. The people at snarfs handled that like champs. I showed up every morning for a sandwich for breakfast and a lunch to go. Every morning the people were friendly, even though the line was long. They worked fast, made jokes, and seemed to really value their customers. Their food may be fast but it definitely isn’t a scam like McDonalds or something. My friend got a parfait for $ 4 or so, and it was HUGE. Great deal. I loved the Italian for sure, but also enjoyed the Roast Beef and Turkey. Get sprouts, they’re a really fun veggie! I mean, I ate 7 or 8 meals here in a ROW, and I still would go back, so I hope this is enough. See you in 2018!

I really liked this place! I tried the Italian, chicken salad sandwich, and bbq. The subs have a thin, toasty and crunchy bread with plenty of filling inside. I enjoy that you get to pick and take out certain condiments/toppings. Price and quantity are great in my opinion! It’s a good stop for a casual lunch.

Quite good. Their large sandwich size gives a hefty amount of food. I love the specialty offerings they have, which include prime rib and steak. They offer a wide variety of sandwiches, and they also serve milkshakes! Sandwiches tasted delicious.

I only went in here on a Sunday night because it was one of the few places downtown that was open. Thankfully, because they care about their guests they are open until 10. It was either this or pay $ 25 for pizza next door.(First choice was Sauce on the Side, but they were closed… sad face) I’ve been to the one on the Loop before, and its not so bad. I decided to go different and order one of their salads instead of chips… it was nice alternative. Pastrami was alright. Much bigger location than the one on the Loop for sure!

They have good sandwiches and we will eat here if we end up visiting downtown St. Louis again. Visiting from California, we stayed in downtown to catch the Rams and the Blues games over the weekend. On our last day on a Monday, we just wanted to have something fast and good before we head back out to Cali and this place was open along with few other places. We ordered the 5-inch meatball and the 7-inch Italian. Meatball was good and so was the Italian, the bread was just perfect.

Had the rotisserie chicken sandwich, added bacon(of course). I enjoyed the sandwich. I personally liked that they included dark meat chicken, as well — made it tastier. Quick friendly service, spacious seating area, soda refills, and a clean restroom.

Stopped by for a late night snack. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the cashier who was very friendly. Atmosphere was quite comfortable, but the tables and chairs felt kind of cheap. Staff was very friendly and also helped me pick out a delicious sandwich. I had the special of the day(don’t remember the exact name, but it had grilled chicken, bacon, and I added avocado). Really excellent sandwich. The thing that stood out the most was the bread. They toasted it just right; not too crunchy, not too soft, but just right. Also, when you order extra avocado, they really do give you extra avocado. Price was a bit on the high side, around $ 10 for a 7″ sandwich(not including tip and tax), but that was also because I added extra toppings. Overall, a great experience. Stop by if you’re looking for a good sandwich!

Every sandwich we tried is so good. Monty’s is good but Snarf’s is even better! On the sandwiches you get a good deal for quality ingredients. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said about the salads. Low carbing ain’t easy! It’s a bit expensive(especially the salads!) but I will pay a bit more for a great sandwich!

Snarf’s is just an ok sandwhich place. Nothing over the top or fancy about this place. The sandwhich I got was the prime rib sub with bacon and peppers. The prime rib was a little bit on the dry side. I wish it would of came with a side of au ju or something. The bacon was very smokey, I don’t really care for smokey bacon. The bread was very toasty, which is nice, it added a little crunch to the sandwhich. It was still crunchy after hours of sitting in the fridge. I absolutely love the peppers but wish they would of had more of a kick. I had to ad my own jalepenos lol. Overall, nothing to rave about here. it’s a little overpriced but I guess that’s downtown for you. nOthing too crazy. will try other places downtown before coming back to snarfs.

Came in on a Tuesday just before noon. It looked crowded, but still plenty of space. The turkey swiss was pretty good. The menu is hearty and your sandwich is customized. The prices are pretty awesome for downtown. It was $ 7 and change for a 5″ hot sandwich and a soda. Nutshell: for a quick, cheap lunch I highly recommend Snarf’s.
