I would give one star but I have had one horrible experience this week with spring compared to 15 years of otherwise great help from them. Long story short, I bought a phone from Apple that sprint could not activate, but sprint would not let me return. 13 hours later of customer care calls, sprint and Apple Store visits, I walked into Apple Store and begged for them to exchange the phone which they did. Why wouldn’t sprint let me exchange the phone in the first place???

I have always hated having to go to the Sprint store. I have in the past fiund the employees rude and unhelpful. In my opinion they have the worst customer service ever. Today while trying to get a simcard for my son’s phone i had one hell of a ride. First the man in the store in creve coure sent me to another location because he couldn’t help. Than after getting there i was put in line for a half hour only to be told again i couldn’t be helped. The whole time i was there in line being asked what i wanted know one told me i needed the phone. So i went home got it came back and got back in line. And again i couldn’t be helped. The computer couldn’t read the phone. But that’s ok because the sales associate could save be 20 bucks on my bill. While im doing this mu wife is at home on the phone with a technician who was also less than helpful. After several hours and a lot of pain in my backside i can say the onlungood thing was Tyla. A rep who works here. She was kind and patient she never lostnher smile. Next time i have to deal with Sprint i will come to her.

I’m going to keep this short as if I don’t, this will be a multiple page rant. Went in to this location after being told by two customer services reps(one via the customer service hotline and the other via chat on ) that I was due for my upgrade. Went into the location. After spending 90 minutes going over alternative plan options(which I didn’t ask for), we finally got to the business of my new phone. It was then I was told I could not get my upgrade. They said they couldn’t upgrade because I was 7 days from the official date in the computer that they could not get around(which, after talking to a former Sprint location manager, is not true at all). I told them to void everything they did to my account since I wasn’t walking out with a new phone, my whole reason for coming in. What was really messed up was the midst of voiding everything out, they did something to cause a $ 199.99 cancel fee to appear on my account. 23 days later I’m still trying to get that sorted out. Thanks a bunch.

Listen, I’m pretty sure that hell is just one big cell phone store. I can’t think of anything much worse. And I’ve had some horrible experiences at many over the years(I’m talking to you, AT&T). That being said, I had the best cell phone store experience at this Sprint location. Frustrated that my 1-month-old Galaxy S4 wasn’t connecting to data(a problem I had a week after I purchased it at Best Buy, they couldn’t fix it, so just gave me a brand new one), I thought I was in for battle. I checked Sprint’s website and saw you could make an appointment, so I did for my lunch hour. When I got to the store, it was packed — but when I checked in, my appointment moved me ahead of all the walk ins. BESTTHING I EVERDID! The sales associate was incredibly personable, which I find amazing because I would surely hate the entire human race if I had his job. He told me that it wasn’t the phone, it was the network. Showed me how to type in a code to refresh the network and it bounced back like a charm. He even wrote the code down for me on his business card so I always had it if I encountered this problem again. Fantastic! I was in and out in 6 minutes and left extremely satisfied. Still shaking my head in amazement on that one.

My wife and I purchased two phones(Samsung S3 and Note 2) from sprint fall 2012. At this time there was no 4GLTE in St. Louis, but the sales associate assured us it would be rolled out by the end of the year. Each time we’ve stopped by to see when 4GLTE will be available in Creve Coeur, it’s always a few months away. The 3G data service on Sprint is truly terrible. Even with full bars, I’ve speed tested it as slow as 100kbps down. Often it doesn’t work at all. Unlimited data is worthless when the data is barely usable. Do yourself a favor and consider a different service.

Best Sprint store I’ve ever visited. Needed a repair and was in and out in 8 minutes! I definitely recommend this location for any of your Sprint related needs(other than to buy a phone, since they are BYFAR the most expensive)
