Have been here before and had a fine meal. Tonight I got home and the green peppers on my sandwich were dark green, soggy, and congealed together. I tried to peel them off the sandwich and they left a green residue all over the rest of my sandwich. Had to throw it out. Definitely did not eat fresh and will not be back.

The Webster Groves Subway always delivers a pretty tasty meal. The staff is friendly and fairly quick except for today. They seemed short staffed for the dinner rush. They handled it well however. I got a foot long Spicy Italian which was very good.

What can I say — subway is subway. Since it is a chain there is a consistency in the quality of the ingredients and the selection. So in my opinion the only variance between different subways are their location and their staff. The staff here is friendly and keeps a very long line moving right along. They are always pleasant, fast and efficient. This location has a large college crowd as do most places in this area with the proximity of Webster university. So if you are in Webster and want a subway, give this one a try!!!

We all know what Subway does well: plain sandwiches. Well, really, if yours is plain, it’s your own fault because you decide what goes in it! Anywho, I love me some $ 5 footlongs. My latest craze is the buffalo chicken sub with ranch. veggies, pepperjack cheese, and some jalapenos. I like my subs like I like my men: big and zippy.(insert canned laughter). This particular subway is close to my office, so I’ve patronized it a few times. The service is apathetic at best, which I attribute to the large crowd of high school and college kids there daily(do not go between 12 – 1 or 3 – 5 if you hate teenagers) that are completely obnoxious and drive nicer cars than I could ever afford. sigh. The parking is difficult when they are busy– best bet is the lot behind the building(by Ben Franklin/Starbucks).
