I saw some really eye catching items in the window and I walked by and thought wait a minute I better go in! After trying on a few things and not knowing if I should splurge or not I decided to wait. But I certainly know where to find the cutest army green jumper and now you do too! I would also note that they had lots of dresses, some dressy and some are perfect for a warm early summer day at the winery or maybe a walk through Forest Park. I liked the assortment of clothing and yes although some things were more pricey than one would expect, if it’s the right outfit for what you have in mind, I say do it!

Spring has sprung… in the form of adorable dresses! If there’s one thing I know about Tantrum, it’s that you should go during the week in the middle of the day compared to a Saturday afternoon. It’s quiet, you’ll get more one on one attention from the staff, and you can really take your time to look without bumping into other shoppers. The dress selection they have in store right now is pretty much perfect. There were probably 8 – 10 I really liked, and they all fit so well! The Bobi brand is universally flattering and they really cranked out some good stuff this season. You can leave Tantrum with two really great dresses for less than $ 100 bucks, and I feel pretty okay about that. I do wish they had shoes, but since the store is so small they had to stop carrying them because they didn’t really have a spot for all the boxes. They do have great accessories, though, especially purses. Tantrum isn’t a place to go to stock up on simple wardrobe essentials, but it’s damn near close to perfect when you’re looking for a statement piece or something for a special occasion. Or when you want to play dress up and partake in a little shopping therapy, if you’re me… Can’t wait to wear ‘em as soon as St. Louis decides to pick a season!

This is a cute little boutique that I didn’t frequent much when I lived in St. Louis, but when I was in the area for the holidays, I found myself shopping the loop and stumbled in here! They were having a 40% off everything sale the day I was there, so the prices were fantastic! I bought a fabulous dolman sleeved blouse with chains at the shoulders and a very cute black lace mini skirt. I was pressed for time so I didn’t get to look as much as I maybe would’ve wanted. The way the clothes were displayed was not the most appealing, but at least they weren’t crowded together in an unorganized mess! The salesgirl was helpful, not overbearing. I got a fitting room instantly and the checkout process was very quick as well.

Wow, it’s been awhile since anyone has written a review about Tantrum, so here goes… When I am able to take time out to shop for cute clothes, there are a few local boutiques that come to mind and Tantrum is one of them. Their clothing is relatively inexpensive and many of the items look like pieces that I’ve contemplated ordering online but didn’t think it was worth paying for shipping if it didn’t work out. Most recently I came to Tantrum to purchase a white dress for an upcoming«white party». Since my sorority days, I’ve steered clear of white dresses(get a group of girls decked out in all-white and they look like a clan of nurses!). But I was under strict orders to get a white outfit and Tantrum was first on my list to check out. Instead of heading straight to Tantrum, I explored some of the other cute shops on Delmar. TAG had some cute options, but I wasn’t feeling vintage-ish and Morrel’s had an adorable dress but it was way too short! No one wants to see my ass cheeks as I bend over :) And what do I find in the window at Tantrum? The perfect white dress! Score! It was a tad pricey, but I figure this won’t be the last white party I attend and it’s worth the investment. Will post pics soon!

Among the abundantly over priced boutiques, centered in St. Louis’ Loop a small emporium by the name of Tantrum can be found. Though featured items can often be pricey, Tantrum allows spenders of all genres to feel right at home. The same familiar face greets you upon arrival on each visit and introduces you to a moderate selection of stylish tanks, dresses and denim. Don’t forget to browse the small accessory selection that features popular jewelry and animal friendly faux leather bags.

While I’ve never purchased anything from Tantrum, I want to. All the time. I mean, if I had the budget for clothes, I’d buy my dresses here. They’re not even super expensive and they’ve got a variety of trendy looks that tend more toward the flirty style, though very much on the tasteful, cover-all-the-right-places side. I come in often and browse the racks and try stuff on. I am a sucker for a good summer dress and they seem to have these year-round here, always in the window display. They do have rack sales, but I’ve never found anything I truly love that’s on clearance. Figures.

Tantrum is a boutique in The Loop which specializes in pricier men and women’s clothing. This store’s stock changes pretty frequently, so if you like it you should buy it immediately. Tantrum also has great jewelry(perfect for gifts) and is one of the few places in St. Louis that still sells Silver jeans.

Please Tantrum, leave the 80’s with Ronald Reagan — dead & rotting in the ground.
