When it comes to great department store finds at a discounted price TJ does it best in my opinion. I particular like this location because it actually sits right next door to my other fav, Marshall’s. This allows me to kill 2 birds with 1 stone when I’m bargain shopping. They have great active wear and home décor items. I love their name brand high thread count linens and throe pillows. Beware the walk of shame aisle leading up to the checkout counter; its treacherous.

TJ Maxx is one of those stores that is hit or miss. Sometimes you think«OMG I’m going to spend my whole paycheck here today!» and other times there’s nothing I’d even remotely be interested in. I definitely appreciate the store for the type of store it is. Sometimes the store looks rough, but that’s again part of the kind of store it is. No, it’s not Nordstrom, but it’s not supposed to be. It’s fun to see what you might walk out with though.

My mom and I found the same pair of leather Coach summer sandals. The black pair came in her size, and the tan pair came in my size. It was CLEARLY meant to be. They were originally $ 230, marked down to $ 120. SOOO meant to be! We only briefly looked around the other departments, but I definitely agree with other reviews that the store is generally disorganized/chaotic, and the employees are not that helpful. Oh well! We were happy with our bargain.

I love this place. I have bought some A-mazing jackets and tops there. Go. You won’t be disappointed. The service is typical of a discount retailer but the product is worth it.

Most T.J. Maxx stores I have been to have decent customer service representatives and I never have an issue with returns or exchanges on the rare occasion I get something home and it just doesn’t work out. The store manager at this location is excessively rude and clearly needs customer service training. I was told that I could not return a purse I purchased there just after Christmas because it cost over $ 50 and I couldn’t find the receipt among all of the receipts for my Christmas gift purchases. The tags were still on the purse, it still has the purse storage bag and has no wear and tear. It sat at my house until I had time to return it. Apparently they have arbitrary return policies at this store that cannot be found in writing anywhere in their store or on their website, so buyer beware! Do NOT lose your receipts if you decide to shop at this location, which I wouldn’t recommend!!! Go to the Manchester location instead for better customer service and better finds.

A little something for everyone here. Decently clean for a discount store and a bonus Marshalls next door to double your shopping pleasure. I can almost always find something here. today’s scores included Calvin Klein jeans for $ 20 and sweaters to stock up for the winter for under $ 20.

Now that the store have received a lovely makeover and an upgrade to the check out process I like shopping here! Always a great deal and just like last year, I seem to notice the on set of Spring bring some hot items!

Housewares, housewares, housewares, squee! I’ve found that clothes here are rather hit and miss. Today I was able to find a dress that completely fit what I was looking for for a mere $ 10. Sounds great to me. On the other hand, it’s not extremely well organized, so it can be hard to find things, so some days I leave empty handed. However, the housewares are drool-worthy. Kitchen supplies for really good bargains; awesome sheet sets for cheap; super fun oils and tasty things for a steal. I wander the aisles looking and drooling over and dreaming about having such a well stocked kitchen.

The staff here all seem lazy and inattentive, at least when it comes to the customer. They’re more concerned about what their co-workers were up to the night before than properly putting you into a fitting room to try out your merchandise. Clothes are strewn about everywhere and the store is pretty much a giant pile to sift through. Which definitely makes things worse seeing that the store is essentially a sifting type of store in the first place. There are the random good deals, but for all the hassle and trouble it’s almost not worth the difference in pricing from major retailer sales.
