Wouldn’t have thought to go to the mall for a hair appointment but everywhere else was closed for the holiday. My hair stylist was on point with my blowout and a fraction of the cost you’ll be charged anywhere else. He chatted with me about all the great places to eat in Louisville and finished up in under the 30 minutes — better than most blow out bars. Note: This doesn’t transfer to all the Regis Salons. I mistakingly went to a different mall’s Regis after this experience and my hair looked like it was stuck in a socket. Luckily, Regis was kind enough not to charge me for that appointment! Moral of the story is to check the Unilocal reviews for the specific Regis beforehand.

Gasp. Snerk. Cough. I went to *The Mall* for a haircut. I had an important meeting in 24 hours and needed to get tidy. And since the chic that usually tames the mane of my Sexy Beast absolutely refused to call us back, I was left with little choice. And, honestly, I am not all that picky about the who and where of the deed. So, off we went. We were greeted by a cheerful and adorable young lady with an equally brilliant name. I was escorted to a chair and assessed. After the shampoo, Sunnye suggested that I try a blunter cut to eliminate some of the fraying. Since I am game for just about anything short of shaving NFL team logos into the side of my head, I agreed. It was a pristine and flattering cut. She actually managed to make me look human and grown up and shit. I love her. Sexy Beast cheated on his«stylist» and paid the price. The cut was mediocre and a little choppy. He likely won’t be stepping out on her again. I will return if I’m in town and need to get shorn.
