I saw Marquel and he did a wash/deep condition, trim and protective style and I loved it! I will be going back! ***Side Note***However his gossiping coworker(wasn’t even there to work but gossip) was not okay and so unprofessional. She called a lady inquiring on hair prices«retarded» not okay.

They do a amazing job. Hair is braided tight. But should not be a problem as long as your hair is healthy. Weave lasts at least two months without a retighten. We will continue to drive and hour and half to have our hair done by MIMI. !!!

When I saw A-T-L, like most people I thought this place would be on point, knowing what ATL means to the hair industry, right-WRONG!!! I went with a friend just to see what they were working with but after seeing her head I would not go there, the staff is very ghetto and the owner is absent at best. You do have to sign a waiver but for $ 50 the styles are okay for Minnesota. It’s not like MN is on the map anywhere for ethnic trendsetting when it comes to ANYTHING but especially black hair! I did not see any cleaning products there to clean combs and I did not see any licenses posted. None of the braiders are from Atlanta, and they use electric curlers and flat irons so you won’t have that polished professional look at all. They are basic weavers and braiders and cannot cut hair in any shape form or fashion. The work is slightly below average but okay for MN, if you go to any other place with a style from these folks(NY, ATL, Miami, Chicago, Maryland or Virginia) you’d get laughed out of town with the quickness. I saw one guy get some twists to start his dreads and it looked a hot mess! Do not go to this place! Best of luck to you all, I hope this helps.
