The place is super expensive, compared to Total Wines in Roseville and their selection is not that great either. Bell’s Two Hearted Ale, $ 6.99 at Total Wines, $ 10.99 at Cellars, I can understand a $ 1 or 2 difference, $ 4 markup is too much!

I don’t quite know how anyone can say the prices are great at this store unless they are buying something other than beer. I only know that the beer prices are considerably higher than at the Blue Max which is just down the road in Burnsville. Cellars has a reasonably good selection of beer but there again not nearly as good as Blue Max. I’ve that customer service is sometimes friendly and helpful and other times surly(no pun intended) and useless.

I can’t remember his name, but there is an employee here(probably manager?) that can make a solid recommendation for beer, wine, or booze based on any number of variables. He is the reason we come back to this store again and again, even when we don’t need a recommendation.

The prices are great, the location is solid as well. However the customer service is terrible, the staff is friendly for the most part. I try to like this place but there is one lady who is always got an attitude for no reason(yes the one with the glasses). One time I went there and she was eating in front of the customers. Talk about poor customer service etiquette. Every time I go there she just acts extra rude. Not my fault I interrupted your computer time facebooking or whatever you’re doing lady. My last experience i really wanted to say something but I refrained and just walked out. This lady is dreadful and really needs to learn etiquette on customer service. I know retail/sales can be hard I use to do it. But geeze would it hurt for you to be friendly and smile? you’re a cashier for goodness sakes at a liquor store! I know as women get older they go through menopause but they have treatment for these things now a days.

Having only lived in the Cities for 3yrs now, I have noticed that liqueur priced vary across the metro area more so than any other place I have lived… sometimes to the tune of $ 15-$ 20 per bottle on Scotch. These guys hands down have the best prices and best selection that I have found for most alcohol and beer, though wine is probably not up to Haskel’s status in respects to selection. I would consider myself a bit of a Scotch aficionado, and their Scotch selection and pricing really is 2nd to none!

Excellent beer selection. They carry a lot of local and craft beers. I go to Cellars whenever I’m looking for anything from Surly Brewing.
