I would give a 0 if it would let me! This was the WORST experience that I had there today. Usually the employees are fairly nice with no problems but when I stopped in today the lady who helped me was horrible. I wanted to do an exchange for a product I bought 3 days ago because the ps tv I got was already used by someone and registered so it wouldn’t let me log in with my play station network info or do anything with it! I explained this to her and she called me a liar and kept pointing at the sticker on the box saying«nope it’s new it says right there!». Well, what an idiot! Maybe it got returned previously or something? Idk but regardless it shouldn’t matter I read the return policy and there is nothing stating why I wouldn’t be able to exchange the product. I hope she gets fired for how rude she was. AWFUL. I will be telling EVERYONE I know.

I love that places like this exist because I’m a cheap asshole and hate paying full price for something that’s no better than a used version. That being said, this location always has a pretty solid variety of games available. I’ve been to a couple whose shelves were somewhat scant, so this Gamestop is a breath of fresh air. I’ve always been a PS player ever since they came out, so… I’m usually balls deep in that section. I’ve picked up a ton of games for a fraction of the price and I’ve never had one single issue with any of them. I don’t need the glitz of unwrapping a case and fondling a virgin CD as long as I still get to kill shit when I plop the thing in the console, you know? As much as I love used games, however, I’m always incredibly leery of buying used controllers(there’s nothing worse than getting flash-fried by a zombie mob because your stupid ‘x’ button is stuck), but they seem to sell a better quality of used gear here than other places. Their trade-in policy is cool, but you’re not going to make anything worth bothering for unless you habitually purchase/trade in brand new games in rapid succession. I just noticed the other day that they’re guaranteeing a 40 dollar trade-in credit if the new game Titanfall is returned by a certain(soon) date. If you’re not a collector and have the time to sink into whipping through games, it wouldn’t be a bad way to constantly see fresh content for very little money. The employees here are pretty sociable and will answer any questions(sometimes to a fault) you may have. I’ve had some clingy experiences here, but I’m pretty sure that’s just the nature of the beast at these places. Bottom line? You’re pretty much getting pawn shop prices on items that undergo much more rigorous prodding and you don’t have to deal with going to a pawn shop. It’s a win-win, really.
