Glorious clutter, organized chaos… whatever you wanna call it, it lives here. I had some time to kill on Friday while my dad was at an appointment and ended up at Grandma’s Attic. I had no idea what I was walking into when I stepped into this huge store, but I think I would have been stuck browsing and browsing and browsing until blindness set in if my dad hadn’t interrupted with a phone call to tell me he was ready to be picked up. I’m always on the hunt for pretty vintage rings, and there are plenty to look at here. I didn’t really understand their system at first, but they have separate keys to each case(because there are various dealers). They were actually quite occupied with customers when I was there, so it took a short while to be helped and then later to pay, but everyone was so friendly and clearly busy that it wasn’t anything to get in a tizzy about. The selection was heavy on smaller items like old Coke ads, costume jewelry, pocket knives, old Barbie dolls, small dishes, old games, etc. I didn’t go in the basement because I didn’t have time. No idea what’s down there. I ended up finding two inexpensive but darling rings that actually fit(this NEVER happens, because I have extremely skinny fingers like a skeletor… genes that have not made it to other areas of my body, unfortch). Hooray-dot-com.

This place is ginormous. They have everything under the sun at a great price; some of the furniture can be a bit pricey, but for the quality, it’s not too bad. It’s also a good stop for crafty types, as you can get old buttons, brooches, and what not for really cheap. Make a date of it by starting at Cossetta.

Cute antique store with a HUGE selection– don’t forget about downstairs. However, some of the stuff in here seems really overpriced.($ 25 for an Avon necklace… Um, OK!) Staff is friendly. They sometimes have dealer’s sales so check it out.

A fun place to shop and a friendly staff. We bought our«new» floor lamp here and even though we ended up having to rewire the whole thing(don’t just plug in your lamps when you buy them — really look at the WHOLE cord — I am just saying…) it’s a wonderful lamp and we really enjoy it in our living room. I also found a TON of old buttons that will be awesome for my hand knit items. Everything we bought was on sale — so we payed less than ticket price on everything. That really makes a person like a place just that much more.

An eclectic antique/curio shop so stuffed with stuff that you will browse for hours. There’s always something interesting and cool to lust after. Recent visits have revealed for sale an old fashioned bobsled and lots of cool items from an old church. Staff are friendly, and there’s always something«on sale.» Don’t forget to check out the basement! BTW, this end of West 7th is quite the antique alley. Start at Sophie Joes and work your way toward Excel Center. When you get to Cosettas, it’s time to eat!
