I order from here for lunch at work for delivery. They constantly forget chips and add ons. They also make my sub wrong. Do not order from this location.

This is for the past few weeks. Orders are taking an hour and I live 2 blocks! Absolutely unacceptable. Corporate will be called…

I’ve had mediocre visits to some JJ’s stores before, but the store on Grand Ave always gets it right. Friendly staff, always get my order right, and they’re as freaky fast as they promise. Their drivers run to your door, too! They really seem to care about their jobs. This is my favorite JJ’s store by far.

Okay, after reading these reviews, it seems apparent that this establishment must have hired all new staff, because I have NEVER had a problem with customer service or cleanliness here. I work late nights in this neighborhood, and usually stop in after work to get a snack before they close. Every time I’ve arrived here to order 10 minutes before close, I have been greeted with a smile and the employees are always kind and patient. I’ve always had great sandwiches here as well. And for those of you who are getting oil on a sandwich to go, maybe you should just put your own oil on your sandwich at home, because that S.O.B is gonna be soggy not matter what you do! I know these guys are itching to go home, and I’m sure they have much more fun things to do than deal with non tipping customers and the stench of Hellman’s all day. These are young guys with part time jobs! This is not a fine dining establishment, so cut them some slack! The people working here seem to be hard working and friendly. Anyhow, I hope this review has helped clear the slate to these negative reviews from years ago, because there’s nothing negative to be said about this place as of now.

Awesome service at this place. I have ordered delivery from here at least 30 times during 2012. They never fucked up once.

Gave this location another go around and still not impressed. You three guys working the back counter on a non– busy night can sandwich wrap your indifference and attiude for another customer. Ridiculous! I dare you to greet a person when they approach the counter… at least try and hide your contempt for a few minutes. Excuse me for not knowing you no longer carried sprouts. Ease up on the the oil. My sandwich was soggy by the time I got it home.

Stopped by this Jimmy John’s for takeout tonight after an afternoon/evening of Christmas shopping on Grand Ave. The woman at the register reeked of weed. She was slow and confused and took forever to ring up our order. She had to ask me what I’d ordered three times, and I had to remind her twice to give me my bottle of water. After all that, our order was wrong. One of her co-workers sort of staggered out of the kitchen into the lobby to meet two(apparent?) friends of his, who ALSO reeked of weed, and were clearly just ridiculously high. They all dropped f-bombs about some girl they were angry at, and the co-worker went back behind the counter and started making sandwiches again… without changing his gloves. Gross. Unprofessional. I was not impressed. Come here if you want sandwiches prepared by stoned teenagers. Otherwise I’d skip it. UPDATE: I was contacted personally by the manager today(after I emailed JJ), who apologized profusely, promised to address the problem, and gave us a voucher for a free meal for my family. It was a very nice gesture, and it’s good that JJ responds to customer feedback.

What looks like a sub but isn’t? Can you get a more indifferent staff? I give them points for knowing what capacola is. The thing that impresses me the most are the quantity containers of Hellmann’s mayonnaise. One of the worst coke’s from a fountain I ever had. It taste’s like osteoporosis. A watery tuna. A pretty good ham and Italian. A Minnesota sandwich all the way. Once again mediocre into millions.

The smell of fresh bread Number 5 is what I want Don’t forget hot peps (THIS is where you go when you’re studying late and need a little snack/meal to keep you going. Sure, there’s loud rock music playing at the store at all hours… but, then again, YOU used to listen to loud rock music back when you WERE young. Remember those days?)
