Poor selection, rude staff, $ 5 minimums on credit card purchases and to top it off, the place smells like mold. It’s like they don’t want business. Weird. I will give them props for the cool mural on their exterior wall though.

I will never go to this establishment again. I was a regular customer. On the night of my 60th birthday I asked the manager if we could park a car in their lot while 4 of us had dinner at a local restaurant. We were trying to save $ on valet fees. He said it was okay to park one car. We returned 2 hours later only to find the manager(Richard) had our car towed 15 minutes earlier. The manager called the tow co. to release the car without a fee, however, by the next day it was clear that the car had been towed improperly and had to have a tire replaced. The tow company had worn one front tire completely flat by not putting the AWD car in neutral. Marshall Liquor will not take any responsibility for this $ 246 car repair. My family was in a retail business for over 33 years and would never treat a customer like I am being treated by Marshall Liquor. Needless to say, the tow company is also not taking any responsibility for this issue. What has happened to integrity in business???

Always stop here if I’m in St Paul and in need of some good time juice. Great prices on wine. Which I’ll be honest I’m an avid consumer of, from the cheap stuff to the nice bottles you’d give as a gift. Never have a hard time finding anything, just deciding on what to get. Service is there if you need it but not pushy. Only thing that gets me are the St. Paul hours, they close at 8:00pm Monday-Thursday due to city liquor laws — so plan accordingly.

I stopped by today for the first time just after they opened to pick up a fast-selling item. The employee behind the counter informed me they were sold out but that a new shipment was on the truck being unloaded as we spoke. He went out, grabbed a case and rang up a six-pack in a flash. Fantastic service!

Typical family-run neighborhood liquor store with decent prices and selection. Very helpful and friendly staff. Is it bad that I frequent the store enough that I’m on a first name basis with the store clerk/manager?

I love this place. The people who run it are nice and I always get good service. The biggest thing for me is the prices. As an avid bourbon drinker, I cannot cheaper whiskey anywhere.

Friendly staff, super convenient location(closest liquor store to my place AND it’s not ghetto fabulous? Yes please!) and helped me out with some kegs for a Marathon Party we threw. I’ll be baaaaack.

This is a big and dusty store with formica tile and the favorite of no-frills alcoholics. Another liquor store near a college campus. What are the odds of such an unlikely occurrence? A decent place locally when looking for the regular things you may require from such a place.

this place has been the beginning of many good nights. and days. they open at 10 a.m., not like i’ve been there at 10 a.m. before. at least not often.
