I love the new Scotts. The new owner is fantastic. They completely renovated the space and even added a walk in fridge. They have a great selection and even have free tastings. At the new Scotts you are welcomed when you walk in the door and thanked when you leave — every single time. They know how to do customer service. I’m glad they are in my neighborhood. I’m happy to give them my business. Kudos to whoever took over this place. It is a 100 times better than the old Scotts.

The «employees» are too busy talking shop to help customers. When I came to the counter with my wine, the guy did not even look at me. he simply said my balance and chastised me for asking for something else because «he already opened the drawer» Horrible customer service. I wish somebody with class would buy this spot.

Solid neighborhood liquor store. Not much of a wine and spirits guy, but I dig thier beer selection. Got all the basics and a good selection of craft brews too. Prices are on par with most places. Limited cooler space, so be sure to look at the brews that are sitting on the shelf or stacked on the floor.

It’s a liquor store. Being new to Minnesota, the concept of only being able to get your booze at one is still new to me. I’m used to picking up alcohol at Target or the grocery store.
That being said, I was impressed by the wine selection. Maybe that’s because I had low expectations. It seems to a decent selection of beers too. The service is friendly and the location is convenient. I just wish they were open later and on Sundays, but that’s not the store’s fault.

This is the best Liquer Store in the entire St. Paul area… yes…due to the great guy that is ALWAYS working the cash register and it is Not Scott. However, Scott is a great guy too… just not arorund that much. THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR GREAT SERVICE ALL OF THESE MANY YEARS! AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Up until a few months ago this was my neighborhood liquor store, just a short one block walk from my house. The proximity was great, and the liquor store is solid. A better than average selection of beers, some friendly staff (the main guy who works there is great — some of the stock room help are duds) and suckers for your kiddie companions. They also have dog biscuits if you being your dog along. I still frequent this location as it is on my way home from work and convenient. Prices seem in line with some larger stores like Big Top. Sorta miss my trips to Scott’s…need to find a new neighborhood liquor store.
