Beach Escape Game

We went with four people in our group and were grouped with four more people but that was fine because it helped with solving the clues! Lots of twists and turns and a whole lot of laughs! I would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a fun team builder!

I went with a full group and everyone had such a fantastic time! The staff worked with us when we originally wanted more people in the room but then had some friends cancel. We all knew the basic concept but had no idea what to expect. We were happily surprised! There are 2 rooms to currently choose from… The Honky Tonk and the Pirate Treasure, but the staff said they are adding 2 new rooms in a few months. I can see why! We did the Honky Tonk but were eager to try the other room right away. Lots of puzzles and clues. Teamwork, patience, and communication were necessary. Be ready to think, plan, take a step back to figure out the riddles. We will be back for as many rooms as they can create!

Beach Escape Game is perhaps the most surprising find in Tampa! I’ve had the chance to play their first two games — Lost Treasure and The Honky Tonk — and in both cases I was surprised by how fun they are! This literal family affair was completely designed in-​house — and they really have something to be proud of. The staff here is wonderful; super friendly, welcoming and clearly take pride in their work. The games, first and foremost are both very fun. Every puzzle is completely intuitive. There are unique twists you won’t find in other games. Clever use of props and space make them stand out. The only thing keeping them from a 5 star rating in my 60+ games experience is something I already know they are working on – the show/​story is (at the time I played) a bit light, however the owners were kind enough to give me a preview of some additions coming soon (if not already) that will definitely help bump it up to the next level! Having played the other games in Tampa, Beach Escape Game is honestly the only venue I’d recommend my fellow Orlando friends make the drive to see. They absolutely stand out as the best game on the west coast — and I’ll definitely be back as soon as they open their next room!

This was sooooo much fun!!! If you like puzzles, like figuring things out, or just plain like having fun with friends and family, this is for you. This is for all ages. It was very challenging for us, but we learned to work together and divide up tasks. It truly is a unique and awesome experience, I would recommend it highly! We’ll be back.

Very fun, more than we expected. We were in the Pirate room, at first I thought it was going to be super easy, but it’s full of unexpected surprises. I went with my husband and it was pretty difficult. I suggest at least three people. Definitely recommend it if you’re in the area. Get the Groupon!
