Had the breakfast special, only $ 7.95 or maybe a little less. Included coffee, juice, outstanding bacon, eggs over medium, toast & a mountain of home fried potatoes. Everything was really good including the homemade strawberry jam on the table. Owner walks around making sure everyones is satisfied with their experience. Highly recommend this great little breakfast restaurant. Went back for breakfast the following morning.

If you are reading this review, save yourself the time and just come here. Don’t think about anywhere else, just show up. If they are closed, wait until tomorrow morning. If you are lucky enough you may get to eat here twice in a day. Came here on vacation in Feb 2015 with the family. Everybody raved about it and wanted to come back. When I was in the area for work a year later, I rearranged my schedule so I could fit in a meal here. Just come in, everybody else talks about the food, I’m saying to try it all.

This place was just what we were looking for when we landed for a weekend trip. Hot coffee, pleasant staff, and amazing food. I got the eggs Benedict which were cooked to perfection and served with savory potatoes. My husband ordered the club omelette and a bacon waffle(a monster breakfast). The bacon waffle was to die for! He ate the whole thing and barely made a dent in the 7-egg omelette. We liked it so much we returned the following day with friends. French toast, bacon and sausage waffles(my husband wanted both after his prior waffle), crêpe of the day, and a spinach omelette were ordered. The crêpe was served with so many extras-banana bread, fruit, and the yummy potatoes. The owner couldn’t believe my husband ordered two waffles! Reasonably priced and well worth a trip on your next visit.

This place was outstanding, one of the best and more generous breakfast I have had in a while. Pros: The staff is really nice, they work very hard even though the place is so crowded and they still deliver a good service and a smile, which is appreciated. The food is really good, huge portions, many options, nice presentation, good ingredients and well cooked… it has everything. We chose a sweet option(the cinnamon roll french toast, which was good but very very sweet! and quite heavy) and a salty one(the biscuits + gravy + eggs) and the grits, everything came fast and everything was delicious and made us satisfied for hours without making us feel too heavy. Prices are really, really fair for the amount of food they serve, and that is a very big pro considering the prices I have paid in Miami for breakasts or brunches… Cons: it seems that place is always full, super full… I’m not sure they take reservations but most of time they cannot even answer the phone because they are too busy… my reccomendation, go there early(around 8am or 8:30 am), write your name in the list and wait somewhere, it’s worth the wait, promised!

One of the best finds on our trip so far! Great food and service. busy Sunday mornings but definitely worth the wait. The guy hosting was running around like crazy but managed a huge crowd of people at once. Definitely big portions but worth taking home!

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Coming from a local, I’ve been going to Frog Pond my whole life. You are missing out if you don’t check it out. The food is so good and portions are so large, you will end up leaving Thanksgiving full and still have a box full of leftovers. Not only is the food great, the service is on point. Make sure to get there early, they get super busy.

By far the most delicious breakfast we’ve ever had! Cinnamon roll French toast was magical. It was so light and fluffy not too sweet absolutely perfect! I also enjoyed the quiche Lorraine which was very tasty and the dish came with an enormous amount of fresh fruit. We would definitely come here over and over! Wish we lived closer!

Best breaky in St Pete Beach. The staff is really efficient at turning the tables during the breakfast rush on the weekends but there is still usually a wait. I still go every weekend I am in town. The quiché is amazing!

Took fellow Unilocalers recommendation on this one and was not let down. For Value, quantity and quality this place is tops! You will not leave here hungry. I had the Italian Sausage Frittata that included onions, cheese, potatoes, tomatoes and of course Italian sausage! A massive meal. If you finish you might regret it! All of the great flavors from a well seasoned griddle. The potatoes were yummy. For value, service, taste and quantity this place is a 5 out of 5.

This place was the best breakfast I’ve had in a long, long time on the road! Awesome service, BIG5 stars with the extra water pitcher on the table, but the food was absolutely the best part! I’ll be back for a visit again!

You won’t leave here hungry. It’s a busy place and they squeeze as many tables in as the fire marshall will allow. I had a veggie omelette and my friend had a belgian waffle. Both were huge. I liked that the side options were grits, homefries or sliced tomatoes. I was being good and got the tomatoes. They swing by and refill your coffee, so you don’t have to wait for seconds. The staff is friendly and they get you in and out very quickly. Hope you like frogs, because the décor has every shape and size frog in all the nooks and crannies.

The Frog Pond. If you ever wonder why the restaurant has that name, just look at the décor inside. Frogs. Frogs everywhere. Unilocal reviewers were spot on about this tasty place. Y’all didn’t steer me wrong all weekend in St Pete. We had a 20 minute wait time around 11 – 11:30 am. For how busy it was, they got us to a table and our server came round to get us started. I got the cinnamon roll French toast and oh my goodness. Every bite was happiness. It was quite filling and I have a big appetite. My wife got the egg in a pan and it was quite a lot of food for the price. Eggs, bacon, peppers, cauliflower, onions, tomatoes, and broccoli mixed well in this dish. The Frog Pond has a mom and pop feel. If you’re in the area and want good food, stop in. It’s worth it.

Enjoyed Sunday Brunch with my parents this morning. The service was great, the food came out fast and fresh. The wait to get seated didn’t take long at all. We had the Krab Meat Benedict, the Bacon Benedict, the Cinnamon Roll Toast and the Eggs in a Pan. Lots of food for a great price. You’ll get quality service, friendly and sweet but not hovering like some places. Everyone helped each other out, which means you didn’t have to wait at all for refills on coffee and water. They even gave me a pitcher of my own Arnold Palmer. This will be a regular visit for us from now own.

— Short Synopsis — Frog Pond has amazing food and lots of frog decorations! One of my new favorite breakfast places! — Detailed Review — I came here on a Sunday morning 20 minutes after The Frog Pond opened and had to wait for about 10 minutes before being seated. This shows its(deserved) popularity! While waiting, I looked around and noticed the many frog related décor. I liked it(since it is called The Frog Pond after all). For parking, there are spaces in front and around the building. I ordered the Cinnamon Roll French Toast and it was amazing! The egg batter changes the flavor combination and texture in a good way. None of the flavors were overpowering, but all played together well. To make it even«sweeter», they provide whipped cream and maple syrup! A great dish that I enjoyed! The Frog Benedict was a good dish. I felt like the cheese and mushrooms elevated the benedict! I do not normally have mushrooms with my benedicts and I love mushrooms, so that made the dish great to me. The home fries that we got with the Frog Benedict were also noteworthy. It is basically their version of hash browns that uses sliced potatoes instead of grated. I liked the Cinnamon Roll French Toast better, but the Frog Benedict was not bad. My girlfriend was craving biscuits and gravy, so we got a side of it. As with the other dishes, it was good! The two biscuits were delicious, homemade, and great to share. The extra gravy went well with the home fries and I liked the pieces of meat in the gravy. I would probably skip this dish the next time though. Overall, a great breakfast restaurant and I look forward to coming back! The Frog Pond is going to be one of my new favorite places to eat breakfast, especially since I live ~10 minutes away(for now).

This is great little brunch spot! The menu consists mostly of omelettes and Benedicts, but also had crepes, frittatas, omelettes, and other standard fair. I opted for the bacon Benedict and it was great. Thick bacon, awesome hollandaise, and two perfectly poached eggs. The hash browns were a little soggy for my taste, but still good. The biscuits and gravy were the only disappointment. The biscuits were a bit tough, and gravy kinda plain. I’d definitely come back to this spot though. Give it a shot!

I’m such a fan of this place. Thanks to Unilocal we found this adorable, casual breakfast spot. My friend had the eggs benedict(which was delicious). Also, the eggs were cooked perfectly. They were just a tad runny, a perfect medium. Usually they are so runny they fall apart once your knife hits them. But these was great. I got the cinnamon bun french toast with bacon. OMG. So decadent and delicious. The bacon was cooked perfectly and had great flavour. The staff was SO nice. And the orange juice was yummy and fresh. It was a perfect place to eat after our red eye flight from LA. Note: the portions are very large!
