Nice friendly wait staff, good food, great prices! Would go back again… in fact we went twice on this trip already :)

Visiting from Atlanta for a wedding in St. Petersburg. We are big breakfast people. And it’s tough to impress us but I have to say, I haven’t ever had such a delicious breakfast. The service is on point. The food is immaculate. Definitely the first time I’ve finished all the food on my plate in a long time. Every time we visit, we will be returning here.

Really wish I could give this place a 4 at least but the service is mediocre. The food was good, nothing that blew our minds. Wasn’t special. But what really drove this review is the fact that the restaurant server etiquette is so poor. Here are a few examples of what I mean: We asked what drinks they have, waitress responds with«look at the back of the menu» She never came back to check on us until we were done, she had the check with her, at this time we had no drinks and desperately needed refills. I asked for another drink and she took the check and came back with the drink and a scribbled check with the updated amount on the back. Soon after, she came to pick up the check with the cash payment, while we were still sitting down and chatting. Most waiters wait for the party to leave before coming in like a vulture. All in all, she would have received a bigger tip, but her etiquette sucked.

The outdoor seating was nice if not a tad loud but that was ok. I got the made in house hash. Pretty darn good. Over medium eggs were recommended and spot on. All combined for a great bite. Service was great. Wife had the biscuits and gravy. She thought they were a bit salty but I thought they were pretty good. Really creamy. Solid breakfast and reasonable prices.

Great Breakfast place. Staff were very efficient and nice. Great Vegie Benedict with perfect poached egg on asparagus. Yum! Nicely decorated with a good vibe.

Food is ok, service is awful … no coffee refills offered. I ordered the beach breakfast, Food was cold except for the scrambled eggs … had to wait an extra couple mins for her to bring out the wifes oatmeal and it wasn’t completely done… would not recommend this place

Absolutely great service! The women there are beyond kind and sweet. There was barely a wait for the food and the portions were spot on. By sitting outside we got to enjoy the fresh air & bring our pup, who was treated like a queen.

Cheap bottled grapefruit juice. The worst poached eggs served as a soupy mess in a bowl with poaching water. A pork loin promised as tender, tough as a shoe. Hmmmmmm. Not recommended. Two stars because of the good potatoes and decent service.

Fast, friendly service plus homemade hash makes Nina’s Café my new favorite breakfast spot for our St. Pete trips! The inside of the café is pretty small, maybe three or four tables for four plus the bar. There are several outside tables; dogs are welcome in this outdoor area. On our first visit to Nina’s, my husband & I both enjoyed the homemade corned beef hash with eggs — amazing! Our friends had an omelette & the beach breakfast(2 eggs, home fries, toast & choice of meat). Everyone enjoyed it so much that we went back the next day as well. This time I decided to try the Irish Benedict which is made with the corned beef hash — yummo! I also got to sample a bite of my friend’s waffle, which is also great! The coffee is good; the staff is friendly. And the food is fast, affordable & tasty!

Had the beach breakfast which consisted of two eggs, hash browns(fresh not frozen), toast and your choice of meat. I had sausage links. Everything was prepared perfectly. Nice little breakfast/lunch spot and very reasonably priced. Thank you!

I give this place three stars because I was not that impressed with the food too much. I got the crab benedict and it was not as good as I have had at other places. I will say the prices were decent and the service was good but I do not live near this place so for me to go out of my way I want to love the food and it was not that great in my opinion. Good place if in the area or if you live within distance and not bad food but not a place I could rave about.

Solid breakfast spot. Lots of fresh fruit and veggie options. We enjoyed our omelettes. She had bacon and asparagus, I had the Greek. Nicely cooked, soft and thick. Home fries were tasty. Good portion size at a reasonable price. French toast looked awesome and that’s what we’ll try next time.

AWESOME food! My wife and I drove about 15 – 20 minutes today on our last morning of vacation, hoping this place would be good. It’s small and«home» feeling. Prices are cheap but quality is not sacrificed! Everything was fresh, fast, and hot. Highly recommend. If there was a downside, it would be the size… however, extra seating outside as well. All around 5 star!

I wasn’t impressed by my trip to Nina’s for breakfast with my parents. They were pretty happy with their food, and I did enjoy my omelette. The coffee was decent. I didn’t like the hash browns(soggy) and the server forgot my toast. It was very busy and she kept apologizing for how long it was taking to help us then saying things like«but it’s so worth it.» She also forgot water when I asked for it, and when I drank some of my dad’s it tasted fishy. Hope to return next time I’m in the area and have a better experience.

A tad hard to find — there’s a sign listing what’s in the strip mall out front that unfortunately doesn’t include Nina’s, and it seems like the Nina’s sign has seen better days. Had a good time. Service was friendly. Liked that you can see them preparing your food — I’m always weary of a hidden kitchen. French toast: 5 stars — I didn’t try it but my friend seemed blissful about it. Omelette: 4 stars. Good, not amazing. Home fries: 3 stars — nice crunch, kinda boring seasoning. But maybe that’s intentional so you can salt to taste? Blueberry pancakes: 3 stars. Pretty wet on the bottom unfortunately. When I cook’em at home I like to give them a couple finishing flips to prevent that. Coffee: 3 stars. Just your standard coffee. Will likely be back to see about this french toast, and next time, mimosas.

Unilocal did it again — this place was a great find. The homemade corned beef hash was delicious. The vibe was very low key and the service was good.

I went back to Nina’s on a Sunday and I doubt I’ll be back. The service wasn’t good at all and the waitress kept blaming it on logistics. Seriously? You seat me, ask what I’d like to drink and then take my order. What’s so difficult about that? The wait for french toast and an omelette was about 45 minutes. Not ideal for breakfast. We had to ask twice for syrup, and then eventually got up and walked inside to ask again. I also had to ask twice for the bill. For the record, the french toast was amazing, but not worth the wait. The veggie omelette was a little blah and there is no way they used 3 eggs that they claimed. If you don’t mind waiting half your morning away, the food is good. The service just didn’t cut it for me.

I almost don’t want to review this place and let the cat out of the bag, but they deserve their props. It’s a small place and they have indoor and outdoor dining. The breakfast menu is small but mighty! They have the basics, along with some specialties, such as homemade corn beef hash and crab cakes Benedict. We just had all of that in this one meal and it was delicious! The coffee is strong and they have large mugs of it. But, will leave extra room for lots of cream when you ask if you’re a light weight like me :) The best part is dining alfresco! Such a chill and relaxing atmosphere. Definitely a great way to start your Sunday! Or any day! Side note: Tripps Diner in St. Pete used to be our breakfast place of choice until their service and quality took a serious decline. NINA’S is where it’s at!

Home cooking with a beach atmosphere. Great breakfast with the best sausage, pancakes and the rye toast was the best I have ever had. Service was outstanding. Then the price was even better… will be back for sure.
