Eh, this place is… mediocre. Good, but nothing to write home about. While driving away from Caddy’s because it was too crowded, my friend and I stumbled upon Mulligan’s and decided to give them a shot. Apparently, they’ve just gone under new management. At 2PM on Sunday, we were the only customers in the huge restaurant, but we decided to give them a shot anyways. We ordered tacos, pasta, beer and pina colodas. The tacos were dry, but the rest of it was delicious, especially the pasta and the pina colodas. What irks me about this place though, is that our bill come out to close to $ 40 and we didn’t even eat any seafood. For a place whose napkins are given in the form of a roll of Bounty paper towels placed in a metal bucket, and whose furniture is all plastic with giant Coors Light promotional umbrellas all around, I expected a meal for two to be more like, $ 20-something. Oh well. The point that saves the day for this restaurant, however, is its location and view. It’s easy to find parking and if you sit on the deck, you get a decent view of the beach. I would still rather go to Caddy’s though, which is probably about a mile down the street. Better food, better prices, and a waaaaay better view.
