Probably the best restaurant in St Pete. She is an amazing chef and extremely creative! RC

Outstanding Fresh Blackened Grouper Sandwich. Fun light hearted Beach Atmosphere! Delicious Margarita. Started with a single order of Fried Mushrooms which to call the portion generous would be a Huge Understatement. We could barely finish them. Our server Jill was Top Notch as well! Highly recommended and will be going back

This rating is being very generous. The wheels came off at Jackie’s today. My friend and I had never been before and had heard good things about the restaurant. The menu seemed very nice. I ordered the fried green tomato BLT. My friend had the grouper trio special. My slaw was past its prime to say the least. The sandwich had way too much bread and not a lot of flavor or lettuce. My friends lobster bisque was very thin and watery with no sign of lobster. Her grouper was very bland. But the worst part was the service! I think they were short handed. Let me tell you that does make a difference. It took forever to get our check and when it did arrive it was the wrong check. 10 minutes later the waiter said he couldn’t find our check so he had to make out a new one. It was almost a 2 hour lunch!

7 pm on a Monday is not a busy night. At first I could not tell if they were open – no one seated outside and dark inside. My frustration was coming for a $ 40-$ 50 meal and having a waitress on her second day(and no Jackie on site this night). Waitress did not know her menu and had no sense of «timing»(yet). There were only about six tables eating but things were taking a long time to reach the tables. I was trying to be understanding but an older gent at a nearby table was pretty vocal about his wait. Unpleasant to be in earshot. I asked for the stuffed dates wrapped in bacon as an appetizer. Took 30 minutes with my water before their arrival. This is a long time if dates were pre-stuffed and wrapped, just needing grilling. They came out hot and had a nice candied flavor but half the bacon was burned black. Room was dark, not possible to cut it off. A little sooner off the grill, it would’ve been perfect. Couldn’t taste the goat cheese with the overpowering char. I requested the dates be served with their Italian prosecco. The champagne arrived when the dates were almost gone. Compared to the prosecco at Selene’s the night before, this was cheap stuff with a tinny taste… and not served in a fluted glass. I chose the lollipop chop for my entrée. The waitress knew nothing about the 2 sides. It was a thick perfectly cooked chop but the braising sauce was very muted. The bed of pears was cinnamon-y and delightful. The potato seemed to be rough mashed and wrapped in a dough. The dough was not cut-able or open-able. I managed to scrape some potatoes out. No one could tell me what this cooking technique was. The vegetable was sautéed zucc and diced tomatoes. I would not choose this dinner again – not enough tasty«impact» for the buck. I am not marking my poor to mediocre experience below the 3 mark based on one visit that is possibly due to untrained new help. But given an opportunity for future fine dining, I’ll choose 1200 Chophouse or Selene’s first.

Went here for Sunday brunch not realizing it was a buffet style. Food had no flavor, very bland. Service was somewhat slow. Would not recommend.

The food is good, atmosphere is cool. A little loud but we were by a group that seemed to be three or four deep into mimosas. A bit more trendy than we are into but nice. There was a singer, the owner milling around. I tend to be a little more quaint than fancy-upscale, coffee and juice than mimosas and Bloody Mary’s. If that’s your thing, this is probably your place. Anytime on St Pete beach is great anyway!

Good was good, I had the bistro burger. Don’t know why there are 2 patties but 1 would’ve been fine. A little too much beef(I know, not a thing). Get the 3 potato salad, sweet, white and russet? Red? Don’t know, don’t care. Really good. Service was excellent.

In you are gluten free, the brunch is the best in the area! They have gluten free fried grouper, mac & cheese, biscuits & gravy, chicken & waffles and an assortment of gluten free baked goods! Love Jackie’s!

Food was ok. It is a buffet and so the expectation is that it’s not going to be amazing. In all honesty if Waffle House served bottomless mimosas they would win in a competition against Jackie’s. However, I loved the shrimp and grits. The mimosas were also fantastic. Even the waitstaff was on point. My complaints are that the doughnuts and the biscuits were stale. The waffle did not have much flavor. And that you cannot call an egg over easy on anything a Benedict without having the sauce. Otherwise it’s just grouper and egg.

We just had brunch at Jackie’s this past Sunday and found it very good. The food was fresh and of good quality. We particularly liked the shrimp grits and the bottomless mimosas. The staff was kind and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely recommend and come back again.

I was mildly excited about the thought of a grouper Benedict… But here is my question: should it not be covered by Hollandaise regardless of what you are putting on beneath that poached egg? Without Hollandaise, basically a poached egg on some fish. Which is cool I guess… Just don’t call it a Benedict anything. Also, if you start the description of the brunch options, say you can request a made to order waffle, and then when someone does request one, suggesting to take one of the cold ones on the buffet line seems a little rude. There were a lot of choices for the brunch, from the sweet to the savory, and most of it was okay to better than okay. The unlimited mimosas were a nice touch.

I don’t even know how to start this, so I will dive right in. My partner and I have been here before, for dinner. I would give the lobster bisque 3⁄5 stars and honestly, my entrée was forgettable, so I cannot rate it. He had the black bean burger, which had no seasoning or flavor… just black beans mashed together. Morningstar’s frozen burgers taste MUCH better. Today we went to try the brunch which I had been excited for ever since I saw the photos. Welp, the photos lie. The brunch is also 19 dollars, which was not well-deserved.(19 dollars everyone!) Painful, when the Sunday market is offering superior food. Waffles: dry, mealy Mac & cheese: hard Fresh fruit: soggy and sour Potatoes: dry as a bone, tasteless I could go on– you get the drift. The hardest part for this was the cook was bragging loudly about how there is a science to her cooking and that her food is beautiful– only the best. After choking up bland food, this was hard to hear. Please, PLEASE enjoy a meal at The Community Café, Chill, or The Comfort Café locations. I cannot give this place another chance. God forgives, but I don’t ;)

Great place! Great menu! So many gluten free options, if you need that. Delicious items to choose from. Lots of appetizer choices. I recommend the pulled pork nachos. Loved the sauce. Most meals come with either potato salad, homemade chips or Asian slaw as a side. All are good. If you want to try something a little different get the potato salad. There are three different types of potatoes. It’s creamy but not heavy with mayo. And don’t miss the infused vodka! So many options! They made a delicious milk free key lime martini for me. Loved it! If you’re in a hurry, go somewhere else. If you want to kick back with friends and enjoy good food and drinks, go here. The hostess was great. Very personable and gave us a little tour of the place while we were waiting for a table.

Without a doubt, this is an excellent Brunch Buffet in every category. We loved every minute and morsel! The Hostess sat us without hesitation, and did a very nice job keeping the customer flow steady without any rush at all. Our Server, Kaeli, was the best. She was very busy by prime brunch time, but she kept everything filled, was warmly personable and made certain we were happy. We were, from start to finish. The food selection was just downright outstanding! Not just the standard(but tasty) eggs, bacon, sausage and breads. My Grouper Eggs Benedict tasted like the fish was caught 20 minutes ago right down the street(I wouldn’t have been surprised it was!) It was some of the best and freshest grouper I’ve ever had. We hit it all: delicious Shrimp & Grits and amazing Veggie Quiche that towered high over the height or taste of any of quiches from the past. French Toast stuffed with marscapone and bananas(!!!), Cheese Blintzes with fresh strawberries, Lobster Bisque(knee-buckling!), an omlette, pancake and waffle station and on and on. Then you have to top off the meal with insanely wonderful desserts and cupcakes. We tried a Strawberry, a Peanut Butter and a Lemon variety, and each were moist, airy and awesome. Throughout the meal you’ll be treated to bottomless Mimosas, but, again, made with prime ingredients, not the standard stuff. Chef Jackie is at the Helm during the entire Brunch time, making sure everyone is pleased. She does a fabulous job, and you and your guests will love such a very special meal.

What a great Sunday brunch buffet find! We walked right in after being greeted outside by the friendly hostess who promptly took us to our table. The brunch items were great including a shrimp and grits topped with cheese and slices of sausage, a fried grouper benedict, smoked salmon, blintzes, fresh cut fruit, quiche, biscuits and gravy, and chicken and waffles. The lobster bisque was also very good. I almost missed it as it was sitting in a pot on the desert table. There are also pancakes, waffles, and omelets made to order and brought to your table instead of having to wait around for then to finish which is a nice touch. The meal price at $ 20 is amazing and it includes bottomless mimosas. *For the love of God, save room for dessert! The spread includes cookies, cheese danish, pound cake, and most importantly the cupcakes which were easily some of the best I’ve ever had. We went with a red velvet with a rich icing and a Boston crème cupcake that was out of this world. Our waitress, Kaeli, was very friendly and was all over our every need. She was awesome from start to finish even with her getting much busier as time went on. We’ll definitely be back for both the fantastic food and the above and beyond service.

Jackie is an amazing chef and host. DONOT miss out on the Sunday Buffet and bottomless mimosas. The spread is small, but everything is tasty. The live music sets the mood. I just love this place and can’t wait for the micro brewery Jackie plans on opening next door. Eat local.

We woke up this morning and were very excited to go out for Sunday brunch! We hadn’t treated ourselves out in a while. The hype on this place is amazing, reviews were wonderful. We have met people who have had Sunday brunch and loved it. Sadly this was not the case with our experience. Overall, the food had flavor and potential, we got there around 12:30, place was full, I would think that would be a good sign on the quality of the buffet food. Grits were not creamy, instead dry and clumpy, although they had good flavor… Biscuits were on the crunchy side, gravy seemed a little too thick, but with butter and pepper, had good flavor. Grouper and poached egg, was dry and overcooked, the eggs Benedict had no hollandaise sauce on it at all, it was mostly English muffin and overcooked egg. Lobster bisque was a sweet broth, didn’t have anything in it, biscuits would have been good dipped into it, there were no chunks of lobster or onion to make your mouth go mmmm… Cupcakes looked good although we didn’t have one. The cinnamon pinwheels looked like they came from Publix. Salmon was flavorful but had a strange texture to it, Had to ask to have my bagel toasted, which was no problem, and was good with the cream cheese, capers and onions. Bottomless Mimosas were good, but seemed the easy win for what we thought would be an exceptional treat. Sorry to say, the experience was a disappointment. Maybe because it is off season? I don’t know, but today, their groove was off.

This is a great little brunch spot right in the middle of the St Pete Island Sunday farmers market! they good selection fresh fruit, the eggs Benedict was on point loved the biscuits and gravy good too they made fluffy omlettes to order and bottomless mimosas are kept filled. There was a plethora of sweets too. Great place for the whole family. Live classical music and patio dining. It was a great way to start the day!

SUNDAYBUFFET review: Y’know that scene in Harry Potter when the kids first get to Hogwarts and all the food magically appears on the long table? It’s a vast expanse of incredible food, surreal in it’s magical perfection and steaming grace, that left them all gawking. That was my reaction when I first saw this spread! If you are looking for«the perfect buffet» for a Sunday morning… this is it. 20 bucks including all drinks? A steal! Every item on the buffet was top notch and amazing. Stuffed French Toast? Housemade muffins? Thick bacon? YES. I couldn’t stop gushing. The ONLY weak area was the waffles. They make them to order, but FYI — ask for them to be well done, they came to the table like wet dishrags sopping in Sysco syrup. Not appetizing. Best of the Beach’d
