My internet was always crashing, which I just assumed was inevitable with Bright House. What really upset me is when I called and told them I would be moving out of state at the end of the month, but wanted my service until then. They disconnected it the next day. When I called to find out what happened, they told me the only way I could have it back on is if I paid a portion of my 100 dollar bill. Thanks, Bright House.

Worst cable company ever! Every time I record a show in DVR and try to watch it the show is scrambled. Cannot watch On Demand shows cause there’s always a «network» issue. I don’t see how this place stays in business.

so far I have been on hold for 20 minutes and counting to get tech assistance. been listening to the same message over and over. they work really hard to get you and then you are on your own. customer service zero

Brighthouse has decided that it’s OK to leave wires hanging in my backyard. The technician left without any explanations why the wire is left here. This was weds morning. I called weds afternoon and they said they would bring someone out from 4 — 6. Again, nobody showed. So when I get home from work, I again call at 830 pm and talk to a supervisor. He informs me they need a bucket to fix the wire… well communication would of went a long way. The supervisor proceeds to tell me they plan on coming out between 8 – 10 am in the morning. Guess what, 10:30 am, still no brighthouse. So I call another supervisor to complain. And I am informed that no where on her computer does she see that they were suppose to come back out this morning. So the«supervisor steve» that I talked to was feeding me crap on a stick! Her info shows that they were not coming out till Sept 1st!!! 5DAYSLEAVING A WIREHANGINGINMYYARD!!! unacceptable & completely unsafe! She agrees with me and says they will make sure someone comes out today to fix the problem. She can’t give me a time because they’re just going to fit me in. So anytime between now and 8 pm at night. Hello, I have a job… I can’t sit here till 8 pm waiting for them to show! I informed her that 8:01 pm if this problem is not fixed I will b taking further action. If u are looking to set up cable I suggest you look elsewhere then BRIGHTHOUSE

These people think that they can just treat people like shit and get away with it. My husband spent over an hour yesterday on the phone with someone trying to get internet set up. We are paying for business internet and would have been paying them almost $ 200 per month. The installer was supposed to be here today between noon and 2pm and call at least half an hour before arrival. Here we are an hour after they were supposed to have been here(3pm) and my husband has been on the phone with various other people from Brighthouse finding out where the installer is. Come to find out that they don’t have any record of him calling to set up service yesterday. Since we don’t have an existing account they can’t figure out who he talked to. No apology, nothing. Just the best they could do was to try to set up a new account and send someone out a different day. Are you F*ing kidding me??? Nothing. You can’t do anything for us? What a crock of shit. We will NEVER use this service and I will be sure to tell everyone I know about how poorly we were treated and that no one offered to even try to rectify the situation.

I’m writing about our dismal experience with trying to get our TV/cable service restored. We have had 3 technicians come out to the house and each one has created a new set of problems. We now await Tech #4 and no doubt, a fresh hell awaits us. Tech #1 attempted a fix, but after over 2 hours, couldn’t fix it, so he called Tech #2, who was not able to do the job. Tech #1 then passed the buck by telling us that he’d call and set up an appointment with an installer. When we called BHN to confirm the appointment, we found out that Tech #1 never made the call, nor did he fill out any paperwork documenting that he couldn’t fix the issue. Tech #3 came out and installed a new cable, but after he left, we found out that we could only get Bay News 9. Each time we called customer care, they would appear sympathetic and try to troubleshoot with no success. They even attempted to sell us additional services even though they can’t even get the current services to work. Our bill(with no new additional services) has gone from $ 99 to $ 140. What BHN is doing is disgraceful and shameful. They seem to be able to provide abominable service and raise their rates.

Always a line — always a wait. Never enough employees to help the masses waiting in line. They have at least 6 booths to assist — but always run two employees. Yet I always see four more employees meandering — open up a window and serve the customers during the rush — then you can get back to inventory. It doesn’t help that BHN closed convenient satellite offices around town — now everyone south of Ulmerton Rd. in Largo are forced to go to this one location that services ALL of south county. Who made that decision??? On a good note — BHN has done a decent job of training their employees to be friendly and helpful — always see a smile !!!
