Genie Computer Systems

I went in to sell a computer. It was an i7 upper end custom build. The owner had 1 complaint, no Optical drive. I expressed I personally don’t have a need for one. I’m a streamer and everything I do is digital. He expressed the parts where «High end computing» and that this was something they were extremely interested in. I left the computer for what should have been 2hrs tops. They needed to inspect it. Almost 6 hrs later the owner is no where to be found and I’m being rudely talked to by a women with a mustache behind the counter. She expressed they could offer me $ 200 but appraised the machine at $ 700. Also stated it would be in their shelf a week tops. Ummm what?!? Needless to say the processor refurbished is worth more than that. I won’t get into the detailed side of parts. But I spent $ 900 building it. They wasted my time and insulted me. Even laughed at my computer. The owner stated «he didn’t have anything that new in his store. The best they had was a low gen i5». I wouldn’t recommend doing business with such rude people. I took it to a pawnshop who saw the value of the computer and offered $ 450 and I could buy it back. I didn’t take the offer but was confused how «computer professionals» saw fit to try and rip me off. I will NEVER go there again!

They did a good job my pc but be sure you know what they are doing to it before you agree to anything!
