I go here whenever I’m feeling like something fried. The gyros in a pita are great, and you can get 2 gyro burrito-type-wraps for $ 4. I ordered the 2 pc fried fish meal with the bass, and it is not the crappy little Long John Silvers portions. The filets took up the whole container and they had to cram the friens in. They season their fries with Old Bay, which I love. I have yet to have the burgers, but the gyros and friend fish and chicken are amazing and no matter what I order I always get a side of hushpuppies. Going through the drive-thru can take a while,(the only reason they get 4 stars) so be ready to wait, but it is well, well worth it.

Surprising good food. I had the fried shrimp and french fry platter. An old co-worker who lives in this part of town(poor thing) picked up from this place for us and it was delicious. HOt and crisp even when she got back to the office. SHrimp were quite large and perfectly cooked. Definitely a neighborhood you won’t catch me in but if you happen to trapse by during the day, drive thru and grab some good seafood!

For a place with a drive-thru, this place has amazing food! Their menu is quite eclectic, it’s hard to really pin down a particular food type. They have sandwiches, seafood of course and weird things like fried gizzards! I usually get the gyro with fries. The gyros are very generous and quite tasty, the fries are great too, they put a little spice on the fries. You can’t go wrong with the gyro, I try to eat one every week! My husband tried the chicken gyros and said they were really good, they marinate the chicken so it’s flavorful, if I ever get tired of the regular gyro(doubtful) I’ll try it. The other thing I’ve tried, is the steamed snow crab legs, a very weird thing to order from a fast-food restaurant. I definitely had my reservations about trying their seafood, but to my delight they were just as good as, if not better than some local seafood restaurants I’ve tried(I’m looking at you Red Lobster). The 1-pound of legs is 3 half crabs, they are boiled in something like Old Bay and really yummy. The crabs are served with butter, but it’s so tasty I didn’t use it. There is indoor seating if you want to dine in. The neighborhood is a little skeezy at night, but well worth the drive. Basically great food for the price!
