Dr. Neel R. Desai, M.D., at The Eye Institute of West Florida, is the best surgeon not only for his expertise, but also for his personal interest in his patients. I have a hereditary disease (Fuch’s Dystrophy) and had two corneal transplants. Dr. Desai is the expert and he explained the procedure, side effects, what to expect, and patiently answered all of my concerns. I am so pleased with the outcome that now I do not have to wear prescription glasses at all. Honestly, I did not know what I could not see since I was so used to not seeing clearly. Now, everyday I thank God for my donors and also for Dr. Desai. The entire staff at the Eye Institute of West Florida is caring and professional; the atmosphere is one of helping people see. What a gift.
