I had many concerns about lasik surgery and what the procedure entails. Dr. Desai was very patient and educated me on the procedure. He answered all my questions and had excellent bedside manner! I would not trust anyone else with my eyes! He is a doctor that truly loves what he does and has mastered the art of ophthalmology!

I have Fuchs Dystrophy and had corneal transplant surgery July 27, 2014 by Dr. Neel Desai, at the Eye Institute Of West Florida, 6133 Central Ave. St. Petersburg, FL. Please do not wait any longer because you fear what might happen to your eyes. Dr. Desai and his entire staff are compassionate, and so skilled that you can rest assured they KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING! Dr. Desai answered all of my concerns and questions, patiently and professionally. Bottom line, my vision is so good after 10 months that I went to get my drivers license and I have no vision restrictions. That is true success! Go for it — follow Dr. Desai’s instructions before and after surgery, be patient with the healing process, and you will be so pleased with the outcome.
