This hotel was disgustingly dirty and unsanitary; the pool most of all. The only part that was remotely nice was the bathroom– very clean and modern. However, the floor looked like it hadn’t been swept in who knows how long and was really just gross. The pool was nearly opaque in terms of clearness, and looked dingy. There was visible hair floating on the surface of the water– all throughout the entire pool. The water seemed to have a film on it and was very very dirty. Overall, my family and I were very disappointed. Would not recommend to anyone.

The good… cost. clean. Quiet. The bad… No coffee in the room… very uncomfortable bed(very hard)… no gym room. Then… there was a fire alarm and there was NOPLANANDNOGUIDANCE! Holy crap. It ended up being a false alarm but geeeez… why dont you make an announcement or act like you are in charge of the chaos(or that you even care)!

I have nothing fancy to say, I stay at Red Roof Inn all the time, all over the place, and I am always pleased(do yourself a favor and always upgrade to the superiour king suite, still cheap, but you get a fridge, desk, microwave) I will say that this location, is the nicest I have been in. Immaculate, all indoor(a lot of the inns have exterior room entrances, and I like the added security of interior entrances) swimming pool, free wi-fi, and free continental breakfast. Red Roof Inn will never be a Hilton, but for crashing for a night, it’s affordable, and nice. Although, I wish all of their locations were like this one.

The selection of hotels in Saint Robert is limited and you must book quickly, because all of the hotels fill up weeks in advance. As I was not expecting that, I found myself without any place to stay near Fort Leonard Wood last week. Fortunately I had a family connection and was able to secure a shared room at no charge. Nice. The room was fine with all of the usual amenities including continental breakfast and a bonus of free internet. The hotel is a reasonable choice for road travelers and families as well as visitors to the base. I have no idea what the room costs, but I imagine it is less than a hundred dollars a night. Recommend.
